Optimists!! you bet!!

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

In the Herald this morning an article about campaigning in Henderson with Tau Henare and this wonderful quote from Scott Simpson;

“Sometimes people give you one finger, which means they’re voting for you once,” explains helper Scott Simpson, describing himself as an Opposition “foot soldier” (he’s actually a regional committee chairman). “And if we get two fingers, that means two votes.”

Nice one Scott.

More absurd rantings from Turia

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

Tariana Turia has had a massive rant today about the innocence of Donna Awatere Huata.

Following on from the other two idiots who spoke up at the weekend, Turia added that she believed that Awatere Huata had committed no crime and claims the court got it wrong.

Of course Turia has also said they won’t be supporting National, well now that is a big relief given how prone to racism the Maori Party is.

The first person I'd check for the leaks

The first person I would check for the leaks would be “The Whale-rider” if I was Don or Gerry.

Nothing hurts like a woman scorned.

Also directly links to Labour….Hmmm interesting….

Maharey bursts forth again

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

Smarmy Steve Maharey has burst into print again.

This time accusing Brownlee of making up stuff.

“Brash must either pull Brownlee into line or back his claims,” Steve Maharey said.

Lets just do a little transposition shall we….”Clark must either pull Mallard into line or back his claims”
Then he lets rip with this one;

“These are serious allegations for Mr Brownlee to be making, including allegations of criminal activity. Brash should either front up with the evidence or apologise for these allegations.”

Yep, maybe we will front with evidence when Trev does.

Steve Maharey said the accusations had also called into question the credibility of senior journalists.

Yep, as have many Right Bloggers. Their credibility (the journalists) has been maligned by their taudry reporting and spinning on behalf of Labour.

“Does Brash seriously think members of the Labour party have access to his emails?

Probably, what with people in dark suits rummaging in the rubbish and the Prime Minister being in charge of the SIS, you betcha he thinks members of the Labour Party have hacked his email.

Finally this drivel;

“These accusations cannot deflect attention from the fact that Dr Brash needs to come clean on who is influencing National party policy, what they want and whether they paid for it by supporting his leadership.”

Again a little transposition is required “These accusations cannot deflect attention from the fact that Helen Clark needs to come clean on who is influencing Labour party policy, what they want and whether they paid for it by supporting her leadership.”

Phew!!!

I bet Don sighed with relief hearing this from Hone Harawira. I imagine he is still trying to get the mental image from his mind however.

“If you ask me, I can’t see myself ever getting into bed with Don Brash. I don’t think most Maori would accept being able to work with that either.”

Boo hoo hoo the MP won't support National

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

Cry me a river….like we thought they would anyway.

It seems that the Dons little speech yesterday about one law for all has upset the Maori Party.

Bertie cops a flogging from Aaron

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

Over at Aarons blog, he has noted that Michael Wood aka Bertrand Bargolias has been musing over Nationals website.

It remnds me of an old saying that Michael should take heed of;

Better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Uh oh…looks like Labour may be in trouble

I wondered how long it would take

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

When I read the SST article on some old emails I thought here we go, must be some bad news for Labour and I wondered how long before the eminent spinners and liars of the Labour party would burst forth.

I was picking Mallard but he obviously is still picking shoe leather out of his teeth. Instead it was the Minister of Smarmy Bullshit Maharey attacking Nationals finances.

It is time for Don Brash to front-up to New Zealanders with the truth about the agenda behind his election bid and the people who are paying for it, says Cabinet Minister Steve Maharey.

Ok Steve, but only when you do about the thousands of dollars poured into your coffers by Unions, PLO, Communist China etc

“Are some of the other donors the likes of Michael Faye (sic) and David Richwhite? How much have they given you?

So what if they have Steve, they used to give to you….or have you forgotten…wasn’t it Labour that gave them their knighthoods….was this a case of Cash for Knighthoods?

“Can you once and for all put to bed the notion you’re getting assistance from overseas?

What about Labour, you have got cash from Australia, or did you forget that, and we are still waiting for Mallard to show us his proof….or was the little release of emails to the SST actually a Labour fabrication.

“Roger Kerr appears to have been involved in policy development. Just how much influence is the Business Round Table having over National’s agenda?”

Big beal, so what if he was. What about Labour, you haven’t disclosed who has been involved in policy development. How much influence did the PRC have in policy in order to get them to consider a free-trade deal?, how much input did Yasser Arafat have in order to have Goff hold his hand for the pictures?

Last words of wisdom for you Steve, slow down or get to be the Prime Minister so you can speed at will. Oh yeah and STFU.

Proof positive Maori Party in la-la land

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

I’ve heard it all now, the Maori Party co-Leader reckons that DAH has been picked on because she is Maori and a victim of a racist justice system.

Donna Awatere Huata is the victim of a racist justice system, say Maori Party co-leader Pita Sharples and candidate Hone Harawira. Awatere Huata was convicted in Auckland District Court last week of defrauding the Pipi Foundation, and was remanded in custody awaiting sentence next month. The Serious Fraud Office is seeking a sentence of at least two years’ jail.

What patent nonsense. If this is the sort of crap they will spout when in Parliament, they don’t deserve to be there.

Here are some more stupid quotes from these dumb-asses. (My comments in bold)

“Maori people up and down the country are not surprised by what’s happened because it happens to them all the time. (Because they commit crimes!!!) How many corporate guys go to jail? (Lots) This is her first time (offending) and she’s going to jail.” (She is a thief and a fraudster and did this when she was a representative of the people, good job)

“If this was a middle-class person from Remuera, there’s no question they’d be dealt with so harshly.” (Really, who says…firstly show me a middle-class person from Remuera, secondly show me one who tickled the till and didn’t go to jail)

“There are many cases where people have been treated lightly for fraud or have got off with no punishment,” (Prove it)

“There’s an element of racism in it and I’m going to be vocal about it.” (Where was the racism, was it because you think Maori should rape and pillage tax payer funded accounts for their own gain?)

There will be protests, big time, from Maori and I will lead the charge.” (down the path of destruction)

“There are too many Maori in jail and they can’t all be criminals.”(Ummm, yep they are)

Awatere Huata was a good leader and mother and was totally honest (beg to differ here, wasn’t she just convicted of tickling the till), Harawira said. “She ain’t Jesus by any stretch of the imagination, but she is committed to her values.” (Those values would be what?, Committing fraud?, stealing?, lying? etc….Oh wait perhaps Labour will take her in, they seem to have a prerequisite for those things to get in)

I think the Maori Party would have a better angle saying that the Prime Minister got off a Prima Facie case of Forgery so why can’t Donna get let off over a few little coins that were just “resting” in her account.

The only shame about this is that Mrs Peter Davis isn’t keeping her company.
