Proof Tuhoe just make shit up

TV3 > Home > Video

It has taken me a couple of days to get to this but while watching TV3 news the other day I saw something that was hilarious. Then I got an email from a loyal reader who reminded me of it. Look at the image beside lovely Hilary and check out the dates that Tuhoe are banning access to Te Urewera National Park.

Yes you read correctly, Tuhoe have banned access until February 30, 2008. I wonder if that actually means they have banned access indefinately as from my research there has never been a February 30, ever. Perhaps this is also gives us an insight at the damage the Electric Puha has been doing in the region.

one little typo error and you make a big issue about it. have you or do you know any 1 who has done this before. here we go again assuming that the error is because of electric puha. well why dont you get your facts right instead of saying that. you and many like you are one reason that people read the utter crap you right. read the history about tuhoe and maybe you will get a better idea why they are like this. tuhoe was supporting itself economicaly and financialy until the nz government invaded their lands and killed people. now i suppose you wil comment on what i have just wrote or maybe spot some typo errors. get your head out of where it dont shine and make an effort to find out what tuhoe is about instead of sitting in your comfort zone behind a computer screen assuming you know the facts.

Why don't you STFU? My wife was born in Opotiki, part of a large family that goes back to the 1800's as traders that were one of the few that would trade with Ngāi Tuhoe, Te Whānau-ā-Apanui and Ngāti Porou. Her great unlce used to drive Model T fords around the area trading when no one else would. I have a picture on my wall of the Prophet Rua and his wives outside my wife's Great uncles store taken in 1899.

I know more about the history of Tuhoe than you would imagine. In fact I have walked or ridden and hunted most of lands around East Cape including Tuhoe lands, I have hunted and walked Waimana and Waioeka and  have trekked from Raukokore to Ruatoria and back again. I probably know more about Tuhoe than you. So quit with your assumptions and deal with the facts. Someone clearly doesn't know that February has 28 days every year except in a leap year which 2008 is when it has 29. Stop your victimisation, colonisation claptrap and build a bridge then get over it.
