Some fools decided to attack Waihopai and deflate the dome structure of one of the satellite dishes.

I’m pretty sure that comes under the definition of terrorism using violence or destruction of property for political means.

Also Keith Locke is dreaming by suggesting that the Greens “would be calling for a public debate and information on the cost and the purpose of the Waihopai base if it was part of the next government”. A position increasing looking like being unnecessary as it is likely that The Greens will either be tumbled out of parliament all together or in opposition for the forseeable future.

They really have only themselves to blame by being the proverbial whore to Labour’s john and achieving precisely nothing despite nine years of propping up the most corrupt and venal government since Muldoon.

    what’s really interesting, ironic, perverse, stupid… is the similarity between Cullen opening up the borders for china to bargain/trade away New zealand’s future/land/strategic (or not be strategi) (vector being the starting example) in much the same fashion as when NZ was bargained for/traded awat, for some muskets, food and rugs, all those years ago.

    history does have a funny (or not so funny) way of repeating itself.

    Small ‘acts’ of terrorism will escalate to bigger things, we have watched it worldwide. The tragedy is, these demented prats will get off with a slap on the wrist with a wet bus ticket! Look what happened with those nutjobs up north with their ‘military training camp’? The very fact that these pathetic little buggers were involved with Zoui puts chills down my spine and I have NO doubt sometime down the road in the future, this country will bitterly regret its actions over THAT particular terrorist. They claim to be members of a London based group that have made attacks on British military bases and we know all about the the home grown terrorists over there.
