Do you think she would go so far as to ask people to write letters to the Herald about it?

What about using professional spin doctors and the Labour equivalent of Crosby|Textor, political consultants Callingham and Edwards to write letters to the Herald?

How about her personal hagiographer?

    I just remembered the first time I encountered Edwards.
    The time was about 1975 or 1976 when I was boarding at a private school….
    Twas a Saturday or possibly Friday night….
    The Panmure squash club and the tele was on.
    He was teaching people/men how not to suffer premature ejaculation.
    Something about your wife…. yes wife, not partner, girlfriend or male friend should squeeze the head of the penis just prior to ejaculation for 30 seconds or whatever.

    And I remember this why??????????

    This is the same Brian Edwards who has accused National of spreading the rumour that Helen was a lesbian. He has not offered the slightest evidence to support his allegation.

    The only MP who has had anything to say to me about the sexual preference of Helen or husband Peter Davis was none other than Winston Peters. I was a member of NZF in the early 90′s. I raised the issue of Helen and Peter with him. I cannot remember everything that was said but I distinctly remember that he volunteered the information that Peter Davis edited a homosexual newspaper while at university. This may or may not be true but it is a rumour that had been around for some time along with rumours of a much more serious nature.

    Ian Wishart has alluded to Helen covering up an incident in the US. Like others who follow the blogs I have heard a few more rumours about what went on in the US.
