Coward seeks permanent solution to temporary problem

Tony Veitch is a coward.

Not only did he “allegedly” smack hi ex-missus around which is so tough guy material, but he has now tried to off himself.

He is such a fucking loser he even managed to stuff that that up.

Suicide is so gay. Why would anyone seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem?

Cam, you are falling into the trap of believing what you read in the papers.
    Frankly I am astonished.
Wait for all the details to come out.
The phone records of her calling him hundreds and hundreds of times over and over again…….. AFTER the back incident.
Tearful scenes with her begging and pleading to get back with him over and over again.
There will be many eye witness statements if this ever comes to court. people she worked alongside and people who witnessed the pathetic behaviour.
Being made “redundant” from Vodafone. Not quitting because of ill health.

Lastly, you are not the only one to have battled “demons”. If your repeated referring back to your own battle with depression helps you, great. Some of us deal with it without wearing it as a badge of honour and mocking those that lack the strength that you so clearly possess.

And it was coke not P.

  • Whaleoil

oh so all that makes it all ok…it was coke not P…..fine, fantastic….it’s all ok now.

Oh and i don’t read papers, I get the gen in person from connected individuals. They are both as bad as each other. I just fail to see how a fricken helicopter was wasting time on this drop-kick. WTF he was a sports presenter not the fricken Prime Minister.

  • barnsleybill

It would be churlish to get into a pissing competition with you here……….. But.
I can tell you categorically that you are completely wrong, your connected individuals will not be the same ones I regularly break bread with. Due mainly to your meltdown at your roaming bill last year. Having met the glenn close character personally on a number of occasions a few years ago and being closely associated with a number of individuals further up the voda foodchain than she ever got I am completely confident that I am not talking out of my arse.

  • Glutaemus Maximus

    Taking sides helps nobody.

The matter is before the Police.

What has happened is truly lamentable.

Let us just give them space!

    Prefer to bait WRP.

  • Cactus Kate

    BB

Veitch hurt one woman he was with by breaking her back and worse he’s gone on to hurt another one – the woman who loves him enough to stand by him through all this shit….his wife.

Neither of these women are on trial. Veitch is a product of his own undoing. And needs serious medical help. Let him get it.

  • Spanishbride

    Hear hear CC

Let us all agree on that.

  • vogan

Not sure what is so gay about suicide except many young men tragically do it and their parents often do not know that is the reason. As for Veitch his fall from grace is hitting him hard but really there are just hundreds of thousands of people who would make adequate television cue card readers.

  • Glutaemus Maximus

    His head isn’t right!

There is no excuse for anti-social behaviour. The drug rumours may give us a clue as to stability of all parties. Pure speculation, and innuendo of course.

  • Cactus Kate

All sad, however the worst part was the report that he called his wife and told her he was going to do it. How horrible for her.

  • Spanishbride

Suicide is an extremely selfish act.
When I felt so low that death seemed like an escape, what stopped me was knowing that my children needed a mother and that my loved ones would be put through hell.
I had no other option but to get help and do what I needed to do to get out of the dark place.

I could not imagine not only attempting suicide but actually ringing up WO to tell him what I was doing.
    That’s not love.

However unlike WO I don’t think he is a loser for not succeeding. It was a cry for help and if he had been serious he would not have rung his wife. He wanted to be stopped.

  • Cactus Kate

Agree SB. Especially with the last paragraph. Lets hope he is shipped off to a clinic to sort his shit out.

  • barnsleybill

I have held my tongue for a few months on this topic after getting a serve at sportsfreak.. However.. Tonight you have gone too far Cam.
Personally I find Veitch irritating beyond belief on the television and on the radio.
That however is not a valid reason to participate in his public evisceration.
Go and watch the movie fatal attraction. Never has the expression bunny boiler been more apt to describe the scorned woman who has systematically set out to completely destroy the man who did not want her.

Try and find somebody from Vodafone who worked with her and ask them what she is like, I did.

I hope full details of her desperate and pathetic attempts to hold onto their relationship and then spiteful and stalker like behaviour after he had at last managed to rid himself of her come out, so everybody can take a long hard look at themselves.
His life has been completely and utterly destroyed in a very short space of time, but the misery she has put him through over the last couple of years must have been crippling for him.
Your comments about somebody who has so clearly been driven to mental illness are beneath you.
    Think on.

  • michaels

Well put BB, and no, I also do not agree with Whale here….
    BUT……
If the man is guilty of what he is accused of….. may he hang in a dark room…..
If however he is proved innocent……. so should she.
I can wait for the outcome before I judge.

  • Whaleoil

Uhmmm…might I suggest you hold your tongue for a while longer.

A bunny boiler she may be but no-one, repeat no-one let alone a chick deserves to be kick and bashed like she was. This was man (albeit a tiny short-arsed coward of a man) beating up a woman. It’s not ok.

I think I am probably more qualified than most to comment on depression and mental illness and my comments stand. in fact I’ll go further and say he did all this for some sympathy.

Tony Veitch is a sad little man. I think you will find that there is one thing that has been left out by all involved in this sorry little saga and that is persistent and constant drug use especially of ‘P’.

There is no other way to explain bizarre behaviour like cycling sans shirts on BMX’s through the middle of Auckland etc. The sooner he faces up to his real problems the sooner he can be rehabilitated.

In my book anyone whose life is so crap they decide to end it and then even fuck that up shows just how crap they are at everything anyway.

  • Spanishbride

Yes he has it tough and mental illness certainly follows high stress situations.
However some high stress situations are of a person’s own making.
No one made him injure her. It is ironic that you use the word ‘crippling’ because it was HER back that was broken not his.

Sure most men who bash the woman in their life do not get their private lives discussed in public.
The public humiliation and losing his job would drive most people into deep depression.

Don’t go blaming the woman he hurt for HIS actions though, Feel sorry for the guy all you like and tell off the media for making a meal of the story if you must, but HE is responsible for his actions.
