Faced with a hostile mainstream media the IDF has opened its Web 2.0 offensive by uploading its gun camera footage onto Youtube and Live Leak amongst other video sites.

You Tube reacted almost immediately and pulled a couple of videos including one I showed yesterday of the Hamas goons copping a bomb while loading rockets. Blogger highlighted the issue and viewers and supporters have shamed Youtube into reinstating the video.

Contrary to Hamas loyal news agencies Israel is sending aid to Gaza.

This video shows how those peace loving Hamas folk like to keep missile launch sites in civilian areas.

The New Year Honours List is out and my, my hasn’t Labour rewarded their failed, their pathetic and their loyal toadies and lickspittles.

All got honours for dubious achievements, Wilson’s in particular seems egregious in the extreme as she should have been noted in history as New Zealand’s worst ever Speaker.

Clem Simich also got an award, it seems for never delivering his message to Wellington and warming a seat for over 20 years. His achievements in parliament could be written on bus ticket.

Other loyal lickspittles to receive awards were Mark Prebble, presumably for holding inadequate and ridiculous inquiries where the result was never in doubt as instructed by the ninth floor and Brian Corban the ever loyal lefty, perhaps now he has his gong he will give up all his government board appointments.

Nothing at all for Owen Glenn which seems strange.

The old style media are fond of saying that Gaza is one of the most densely populated places on earth, most just accept it and others like Bumber scream it from the blog-tops.

However the facts show that to be very misleading in fact it is so misleading as to almost be a lie;

It is “one of the most”, but far from the most populated if you compare to some cities and counties.(Per square mile, figures from Wikipedia)

Gaza’s density is almost three times that of Auckland which sits at 3,131.8. Hardly packed in. Especially ironic twhen you consider Tel Aviv is more dense, they don’t seem to be making rockets and mortar and blowing up their neighbours up in Tel Aviv. And we aren’t hearing too much about mad terrorsits hurling rockets around in Hong Kong or Singapore either.

Those nice little Arabs who are playing with nothing more than glorified skyrockets gave the peaceful, law abiding citizens of the Palestinian Homeland a new law for Christmas.

Both Iran and its Hamas proxy in Gaza have been busy this Christmas week showing Christendom just what they think of it. But no one seems to have noticed.

On Tuesday, Hamas legislators marked the Christmas season by passing a Shari’a criminal code for the Palestinian Authority. Among other things, it legalizes crucifixion.

Hamas’s endorsement of nailing enemies of Islam to crosses came at the same time it renewed its jihad. Here, too, Hamas wanted to make sure that Christians didn’t feel neglected as its fighters launched missiles at Jewish day care centers and schools. So on Wednesday, Hamas lobbed a mortar shell at the Erez crossing point into Israel just as a group of Gazan Christians were standing on line waiting to travel to Bethlehem for Christmas.

Nice folk those ones from the Religion of Peace. Now they not only want to persecute evil Jews but also Christians. Kinda makes National’s urgency provisions look a little tame.
