Rodney Hide has done what Nick Smith has failed to do and ask for ALL the details of the data at NIWA so we can see if they are cheating us or not. Why is it up to the only honest politician to get the scientists to come clean on why data needs to be manipulated at all, which data was manipulated and the exact reasons why it was?

These are all valid reasons, especially no that we have an ETS system that will cripple our economy if maintained. If the science is bogus then the ETS and associated bullshit that goes with it be tossed out and then the prosecutions can begin for the greatest fraud attempted to committed on the global population in the history of mankind.

Glenda Fryer needs to be called out for this BS:

Councillor Glenda Fryer said, “Sam Lotu-Iiga broke his social contract with the people of Tamaki-Maungakiekie when he nominated for Parliament in February 2008.  Voters who elected him in October 2007 voted for him on the basis that he would represent them on the Auckland City Council for the whole three years.”

Meanwhile, Glenda Fryer herself sought the Labour nomination for Mt Albert – apparently she herself is quite willing to break this so called “social contract”.

Sam has actually committed to maintain representing Maungakiekie residents on any council issues that arise, free of charge:

Deputy Mayor David Hay pointed out that there would be considerable savings to ratepayers by leaving the seat vacant.
Mr Lotu-Iiga who is also the Member of Parliament for Maungakiekie has made a commitment to keep the council informed of issues his constituents living in the ward bring to his attention.

If Labour folk want to keep playing this card then they can expect the light of public scrutiny of their own actions to shine upon them.

First up we had Creepy Cosgrove eating a cake with Judith Collins’ face on it and now we have Creepy Charles trawling the internet looking at young Act and National supporters/workers Facebook pages.

This is classic standard pederast behaviour creeping along in the ether looking for likely subjects.

Why is it that Labour and leftists in general such humourless pricks. FFS these guys are meant to be MPs.

As Cactus Kate points out in her post about the working poor, our only solution for economic salvation in the wake of the ETS is to Dig, baby, Dig.

Lockwood Smith has launched into repeaters in the Press Gallery and laid down a challenge.

“If the newspapers do want to have a view and want to lobby on it, I’m very happy to issue them with a lobbyist card and relieve them of their [Press Gallery] offices here, and if they want to be lobbyists – fine.

“You’ve seen how principled I’ve been in the chamber, I’ll take the same approach to other things as well.”

He has a very good point. Just the other day I wrote to the Speakers Office and asked what the square meterage of the facilities offered to the Press Gallery was. The Speakers Office was not obliged to answer because Parliamentary Services which operates parliament is not subject to the OIA.

Fortunately for me the Speakers Office did reply and told me that;

“the Press Gallery occupy approximately 880 square metres. The Gallery, which comprises most of the major media outlets, does not pay rent for this space. As the Executive Wing is owned by the Crown, we do not have a benchmark for the rental value for that space.”

I had asked for what the Press Gallery was paying for the use of this space and the associated utilities. The answer is of course nothing. A quick check of a Commercial Real Estate agent shows that in such a prime location, exemplary fit-out, plus full utilities shows that Parliamentary Services could rent out that 880 square meters for approximately $350 sqm. Meaning that Prliamentary Services as the landlord is forgoing around $308,000 in rental income. Now I understand that Press Gallery repeaters also get a carpark so add on $150 per week for a covered carpark and for each repeater in the Gallery that comes to $7,800. There are 47 Full members of The Press Gallery so their carparking would be worth another $366,600 bringing the total taxpayer subsidy to news organisations to around $674,600.

Now look who is troughing. Those news organisations don’t have to pay a cent towards the cost of housing those repeaters. For the 47 Full members that equates to $14,353 of taxpayer subsidy to their respective publications. I think it is time the taxpayer sent a bill to those news organisations.

Now that the government has passed the ETS there exists the possibility that there is another way for them to enrich themselves without proper public scrutiny.

Therefore I propose a change.

I believe that the MPs’ Register of Pecuniary Interests to now have a special section declaring MPs’ interest in carbon trading funds/exchanges or related investments.

This is especially important given the suspect science so we can see who is pushing to retain or increase the power under the ETS for their own financial benefit.

Look at these Tenders for MoE. Complete and utter feel good, airy-fairy, mumbo-jumbo politically correct bullshit.

Hell when i went to school the “smart tools” used by the teachers to better support student achievement, ie paying attention, were a variety of canes kept in the Deans room on the A Floor. The good teachers let you go and select your own cane, the arseholes chose for themselves and trust me there is an art in choosing canes that are about to wallop your arse.

Lisa Lewis who is a nominee for the 2010 Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year award has had her Penthouse spread put online at the Australian Penthouse website.

Following, there is the intellectual aspect where I have protested a Parliamentary Bill, been a columnist for one of Fairfax’s leading newspapers ‘Waikato Times’ (which became one of the most read online columns in New Zealand).

I have been reported about in most of New Zealand’s leading papers: some proud of – and some not.  I have been photographed for giving the Auckland Mayor Press Secretary a Lap-Dance at an ‘A Lister Party,’ had court threats from customers’ wives and photographed for being the most iconic at New Zealand’s lead-up to Erotica on Boobs on Bikes.

My headline is correct in all respects now that we have ClimateGate and now our own version of it in New Zealand. The Global Warming trend that the world is all in a lather about and Nick Smith plus his leftist pals bang on about relentlessly foaming at the mouth is man-made but only in the figures, not in anything else. The scientists simply made up the figures.

TBR has a summary but the graphs are the most telling. The Minister responsible for NIWA now needs to be calling in the auditor-General as this is actually tantamount to a fraud against the New Zealand public. If a business cooked the books as badly as this then the Directors would be in jail. It is unsurprising that cooking of the books has ocurred since Enron were the masterminds behind the whole carbon trading scam in the first place.

The graph at left is from NIWA, those “honest” scientists who work for the government and where Jim Salinger the now discredited scientist used to work. Salinger of course is widely implicated in the scam exposed by Climategate.

Their graph shows a clear warming trend. The truly sad thing is that the data has been doctored.

The reality is of course far different. Analysis of the raw climate data from the same temperature stations has just turned up a very different result:

As Ian Wishart says;

Straight away you can see there’s no slope—either up or down. The temperatures are remarkably constant way back to the 1850s. Of course, the temperature still varies from year to year, but the trend stays level—statistically insignificant at 0.06°C per century since 1850.

Putting these two graphs side by side, you can see huge differences. What is going on?

Why does NIWA’s graph show strong warming, but graphing their own raw data looks completely different? Their graph shows warming, but the actual temperature readings show none whatsoever!

Have the readings in the official NIWA graph been adjusted?

The answer is of course yes. The scientists that have given the evidence that Nick Smith based his looney ETS on have cheated, cooked the books, fiddled the figures, actually they have lied.

Apparently David Wratt, the head of NIWA  has said his organization denies faking temperature data and he claims NIWA has a good explanation for adjusting the temperature data upward. Wratt says NIWA is drafting a media response for release later this afternoon which will explain why they altered the raw data.

Boy can’t wait for the response. Probably be something like the famous Dan Rather “Fake but Real” scandal.

Well, a deal for Chrisco at least, but not for you.

Today in my email I received the latest pitch from Chrisco.

Well, competitive prices my arse….perhaps they are comparing the prices with the loan shark on the corner in South Auckland. We have already proved that they are lying about beating food price rises. They are more expensive than the corner Indian Dairy!

Take the 32″ Panasonic Viera LCD TV. Chrisco has this TV at $1049. Real bargain? Well at Magness Benrow, not known for being the cheapest around you can get the same TV for $999 and you can get it on Trademe for $899 if you are prepared to catch an auction with few bidders. Not much of a saving there, plus you have to wait a year to get the damn thing by which time it will be obsolete or a different model that is way cheaper to buy in the stores. And the real kicker is that only dickless wonders or poofs buy 32″ TV’s and only then for putting in the bathroom to watch while they have a soak in their lilac scented bath.

So Chrisco, not content with gouging customers selling nearly expired products at above market rates, essentially charging usury interst rates are now going to start gouging customers on consumer items. Remind me again how that went for Mrs Christmas?

The problem I have with the likes of Chrisco is that they prey on the poor and indigent. Labour professes to want to look after them but they spent millions on an indepedent banking inquiry and haven’t even bothered to look into this blatant rort and the plethora of schemes that rip off Labour’s natural constituency. Consumer Affairs Minister Heather Roy seems to be of little use on this issue too, perhaps she is trying to get Richard Bradley to offer the Skyhawks as a Chrisco deal of the century.
