Yet another rogue poll, National in front but Labour catching….yeah right

The rogue polls just keep on rolling in. This must be the 3978th rogue poll since 2007 that shows National, unbelievably, in front of Labour.

It is funny how the leftwing lap-blogs never blog the polls anymore. They have become poll deniers. They are like the warmists that despite every measurable system known to man showing that the earth is cooling they announce to us all “but the trend is up”.

Well here are the figures from the latest Roy Morgan Poll.

Support for John Key’s National-led Government is 60.5% (up 1.5%) comprising;

National Party 55.5% (up 2.5%)
Maori Party 3.5% (up 0.5%)
ACT NZ 1% (down 1.5%)
United Future 0.5% (unchanged)

Support for Opposition parties is 39.5% (down 1.5%);
Labour Party 29% (down 1%)
Greens 7.5% (unchanged)
NZ First 1.5% (down 1%)
Progressive Party 0.5% (unchanged)
and Others 1% (up 0.5%).

Why the Morgan poll still includes Winston First is beyond comprehension, perhaps they should rename the NZ First percentage “Bewildered by Questions”.

    National are practising the mathematics of defeat. Soon, they will poll so high Labour will have the element of surprise!

    So who'll be hosting the BBQ today then? Or will it be tofu and sprouts at Matyan's place?

    Personally I like John Key but I think some people are feeling that he is not showing enough leadership..and apparently many of the pensioners are saying they are not voting for him next time. Noone can rest on their laurels.

    Correct Theresaj. I know if I had such a significant mandate and the overwhelming support of the public, I'd be kicking arse. JK needs to start scoring some points, or people will vote elsewhere next time. I am an expat, I have always voted right, but the nats are so centrist that they almost appear to lean to the left at times. Not what they promised and not what I voted for.

    and apparently many of the pensioners are saying they are not voting for him next time.

    So who the fuck are they voting for? ACT? Back to WINSTON?

    I have always voted right, but the nats are so centrist that they almost appear to lean to the left at times.

    At times? At fucking times? Sorry, but over the last – actually 8 years or so – Cullen cut taxes and Key's fucking raised them!!

    OK I'm ignoring the top personal rate, but apart from the Cullen cut especially business taxes – while Key, remember, raised business taxes to make up for his microscopic tax "cut".

    I hope the Maori party implodes, and we get a National ACT govt, then a National majority government with 60% next time – enough to just change the constitution without a fucking referrendum

    Then, finally, we can get the changes made to NZ that desperately need to be made!

    what goes up must come down.
    Its elementary dear Watson

  • Theresaj

    Perhaps the pensioners will vote for Winston….they are far more vocal and far more political than many younger people give them credit for..and of course , more of them are living longer.

    • http://intensedebate.com/people/Chiefsfan73 Chiefsfan73

      If we don't see some action from Key, sadly maybe they will

  • Theresaj

    Apparently , Key promised the pensioners something and then reneged on his promise. I am not sure what this was exactly but they are really hot about it.
