Nope it wasn’t me, sounds like me but it wasn’t. It was Honest Hone Harawira in another email leak from some disaffected member of the maoritocracy.

The Whale likes Hone, perhaps he is our only honest politician. I expect much wailing and hand-wringing from the chattering classes though.

The full quote is particularly fine and was sent to six TPK functionaries. They of course are having cry, they should HTFU.

Sounds like he didn't like someone trying to make the consulting process a little more honest. Sounds like he was trying to be a little too cleaver and not very honest at all (not to mention his crying he didn't get his own way!).

    I agree with Hagues. "Honest John" my backside. He called the flag that *he* wanted the "Maori" flag. In other words, it's really *John's* flag.
    Anyway – he's no different to the rest of the troughers in the Beehive.

      Well Tau the old someone else is ripping someone else off routine doesn't cut it. At least hotchins et al are only ripping off those gulliable enough to give them their money. The government on the other hand take my hard earned money off me by force, they should be making damn sure there is a good reason to be taking it and not wasting it.
