N.I.W.A.

In light of the “dog ate my homework” admission and other manipulated data scandals by NIWA they have decided to change its name, from National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research to…..

No Idea What’s Ahead.

and what’s more, why does the head of NIWA have two carparks at HQ down the viaduct? Is it so he can park his 911 Porsche across the two parks so it won’t get scratched and also why when Government Ministers are visiting why does he all of a sudden drive a beaten up Suzuki Jimny while the missus driving the 911?

Very strange goings on but The Whale has spies and he knows all.

In further news has Nick “Quota” Smith been slapped up the back of the head?

“Yeah, there’s quite a debate as to whether people want to continue with the United Nations process that proved pretty inadequate in Copenhagen, or whether people want to use some other process, maybe the G20 or something like that, and so I think internationally there’s going to be quite a lot of navel gazing over the next six months or so to try and reposition and find a process that will work.”

Smith followed up by slamming the UN IPCC blunders and warning that similar errors in New Zealand “won’t be tolerated”.

“I think they are concerning…there has been some slip-ups and that’s concerning. I’ve made it quite plain to the New Zealand scientific fraternity that those sorts of slip-ups will not be tolerated and they need to make sure the advice they are giving myself and my cabinet colleagues is straight science and robust science, because the credibility of the climate change problem gets into question even when you get these quite small issues on the fringe where errors have been made.”

How about giving it all away and focus on something real Nick?

You don't have any idea about the shennanigans that go on at N.I.W.A, incompetent fake PHD's that cant do basic arithmetic. Money wasting like you would never believe on various Tikki touring 'meetings'. Remember
WINZ and their 'Team building sessions' at very expensive resorts? N.I.W.A wrote the manual on financial rorting in some departments.

Methinks the time is ripe to hit NIWA as one would a knarly gorse bush. Chain saw and paraquat please.

Close the bastards down and give their budget to child cancer.

"…Yeah, there’s quite a debate as to whether people want to continue with the United Nations process that proved pretty inadequate in Copenhagen, or whether people want to use some other process, maybe the G20 or something like that,…"

Double-plus good way to frame the argument, Winston, I mean, Nick, Smith!
There is no problem with the "problem" and there is no question that the taxpayer can/should/must fix the problem. The only question is, "to whom do we send the money which we earned with our precious and irretrievable time and energy?"

Remember, this is money that could be much better spent providing food, clothing and shelter for our families and loved ones. The time and energy we could spend bring our children up in a loving environment and instilling in them the values that state sponsored babysitters never could.

This is money that we could spend on self improvement, on realizing our creative potential. This alone would be our greatest weapon against self destruction if we ever were faced with that possibility.

Hey how come Bill "Gordon" Ramsay hasn't been on here disparaging you guys for picking on the errors of NIWA. And offering up another inane Peter Sinclair video to prove himself correct.
BTW who the feck is Peter Sinclair? Wasn't he the Marmite Jar guy?

I believe Smith will not change his position on AGW and will go ahead pushing the new taxes. The money is too good to miss.

This should cost National many, many votes. The bastards lied during the campaign when they said they were against new taxes.

As the PM and Smith's boss, Key is also guilty.

Lies before the election including telling us that they knew what was needed and the knew what to do, attacking the owners of 340,000 private rental houses and many other property owners with new ways to tax . New ways that will have a myriad of unintended consequences.
Adding the ETS to attack businesses and exports.
Failed dismally to attack govt. expenses. The list goes on and on.
Failed to get the bureaucracy in Wgtn under their control .Most senior CEO's are still in place driving their own empires. No discipline attached to the management of those organisations.
Failure to behave like winners in a contest where winner takes all. That's their worst sin. They have rolled over on Labour policy and allowed Labour/ lefty people to remain in too many high places. worse they gave the top ones nice little jobs just in case they faced having the same problem next election.
    Not winners at all.
