Prince Charles is a dipshit and a hypocrite

Wingnut, in more ways than one, Prince Charles the Fool is a complete idiot. Clearly he is proof of the genetic in-breeding of royalty. His latest mumblings on Climate Change are as breath-taking in ignorance as they are in hypocrisy.

This has been an appalling couple of months for the climate change lobby and now there’s been another, sickening, blow – which some of you, undecided in the debate, may well feel is the clincher. Prince Charles has waded into the issue, eviscerating climate change sceptics. “Please be in no doubt that the evidence of long term and potentially irreversible changes  to our world is utterly overwhelming,” he said. Hell, you could almost see them, at the IPCC and UEA, cringing, banging their heads against their computers upon which they were, at that very moment, making things up. Just what you need, the support of Prince Charles. It came on the same day that he said he didn’t agree with The Enlightenment.

Charles the Fool spoke after arriving in Manchester by Royal Train pulled by a coal-fired steam locomotive, named the Tornado, which was rebuilt from a 1948 design. Yep he got to his speaking engagement by riding on a  coal powered “death train”.

Prince Charles on his way to Manchester to talk about th evils of Global Warming

God save us from brain dead inbreds, this wanker who has never done a days work in his life is hardly the right person to comment on anything outside the protective world he lives in.
This guys track record in rational thought is somewhat dubious, after all who would kick a trophy wife like he had, out to replace her someone else s cast off bush pig FFS.

it seems The Madness that defined King George is back with a genetic vengence.

Last month Corkie was ranting about the so-called evils of what he termed "the convenience society" – this from a pampered ponce who believes the world smells of fresh paint and furniture polish and who has never drawn his own curtains in his life.

Charles believes homeopathy has credibility – point proven, he is a fool.

  • MT_Tinman

I like Charlie and doubt he's quite as stupid as people think.

He's wrong on this one but I will point out that at least he's speaking honestly and without thought to how much he can make out of any panic that may ensue.

    In that respect he's original.

The "Fool" Prince would make a great travelling companion for Al "Henny Penny" Gore, jetting around the world telling us the sky is falling.

Now that we can turn corn into bio-fuel, all we have to do is figure out how to make coal and oil into food and the Planet is saved.

  • Bill Ramsay

As in all things, you'll find that there's a bit more to this than that 'once over lightly' treatment above. Here's the full story of why the train was used, and more importantly, why.

    It's taken from http://www.a1steam.com/index.php?option=com_conte…

TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will arrive at the world’s oldest surviving passenger railway station by Royal Train, pulled by Tornado – Britain’s newest steam locomotive.

The Prince of Wales will visit Manchester's Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) as part of a series of engagements Their Royal Highnesses are undertaking in Greater Manchester on Thursday 4th February. HRH will tour the Museum’s Power Hall, which tells the story of energy production – from the water wheel through to the steam engine – and includes one of the largest collections of working steam engines in the world. The Museum’s own replica Planet steam locomotive will be in steam for the occasion.

No. 60163 Tornado – a Peppercorn A1 Pacific steam engine, was completed just a year ago in Darlington by The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust. The last Peppercorn class A1 steam locomotive was scrapped in 1966, but Tornado is a brand new locomotive which will make a special trip to MOSI for the Royal visit.

MOSI Director Steve Davies said, “I’m delighted to welcome The Prince of Wales on behalf of the Museum. It will be an historic moment when the Royal Train is pulled into the Museum by the spectacular new Tornado and Their Royal Highnesses disembark onto the world’s oldest surviving passenger railway platform. As well as walking through this historic site for railways, the Prince will also see some of the oldest forms of energy production – such as the water wheel and the horse gin, and the story of how that developed into the vast steam engines which powered Manchester’s textile mills. Energy production continues to be one of society’s biggest concerns, and an issue about which I know The Prince has a particular interest.”

Mark Allatt, chairman of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, added, “The Trust and all of its supporters are deeply honoured that Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, who named Tornado last February, have chosen to travel on The Royal Train to the Museum hauled by Tornado. There couldn’t be a more appropriate occasion for this honour as The Prince visits the amazing collection assembled by MOSI. This honour is recognition of the shared vision and determination of all of those who worked so hard over 19 years to bring Tornado into being and are now doing the same to keep her operating on the main line.”

As you would have noticed bill i do not believe in climate changebut i welcome your knowledge on trains as would marcus lush.I say bring back the crunchie add,but alas the old lady who was in the add did not want it to be replayed. But for fucks sake look at the smoke from charlie and the smoke stack train engine please enjoyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH1q3TD93Kg

      • Bill Ramsay

I know, they are horribly polluting things, but the engineer in me loves them.

When I was doing my degree [BSc Electronics] I had to do a course on 'the history of science' The industrial revolution played a large part in that. I studied the development of the steam engines, reciprocating, triple expansion, external condensers, regulators and the like. Development of trains etc. All wonderful stuff. By modern standards hopelessly inefficient, but as a historical event, wonderful.

I enjoy going down to Glenbrook to see the trains there too. I am of an age where being an engine driver was one of the options when asked what you wanted to do when you grow up. [funnily enough, the other popular options were policeman and doctor. Not so sure that they would come up now if that question was asked again].

        yours aye.

So burning all that coal and releasing that poisonous CO2 into the atmosphere for an "historic moment" is ok with all you warmers then?
Obviously , the way chicken Al and the idiot Pachauri swan about the planet in their private jets,FFs if the hypocrisy was`nt so fucking blatant, you might even have convinced more suckers that the sky is falling.

    • Bill Ramsay

I was just trying to put the steam engine thing in context that's all. Anyway, steam engines are brilliant things.

Your comments on Al Gore and Pachauri, say more about your distaste for them. How else are they meant to get around ? Take the train from New York to London? Or maybe sail from New York to LA? It's all a matter of appropriateness surely?

      • http://intensedebate.com/people/billhicks billhicks

Billy rams your idol Pachauri the former railway engineer is now lying on the tracks and there is a train coming….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69QWjCLbIr4

        • Bill Ramsay

that's a nicely put together bit of cut and pasted video, isn't it?

      • madcow

Bill – Of course Gore could have simply posted his convenient lies on You Tube, but I guess the speaking circuit is far to lucrative even if does mean leaving a massive carbon footprint. But don't worry, this global warming is a precursor to the next mini ice-age. When that happens those long on carbon credits will have to sell sell sell! lol

      • http://intensedebate.com/people/Titan_Uranus Titan_Uranus

I would have expected the leading proponents of Global Warming/Climate Change to lead by example,ie video conferencing ,public transport and whatever energy conserving means necessary, yet we get Gore using a private mansion that uses more energy than a small town and charters private jets whenever the impulse grabs him.
So the only conclusion I can come to is that energy conservation is way down the list of priorities, emit all you like so long as he can collect the credits?

        • Bill Ramsay

Yes you would expect that. Why don't you contact them to find out why the don't?

          • http://intensedebate.com/people/Titan_Uranus Titan_Uranus

Why don't you contact them to find out why the don't?

L O L ,do you really think I or anyone could get a straight answer from a politician?

          • Bill Ramsay

exactly my point when it comes to Monckton et al. He's a lying conniving git. Sorry, did I really type that or was i thinking that?

          • http://intensedebate.com/people/Titan_Uranus Titan_Uranus

            What lies?
You need to get over the fact that he is a toff, would you prefer to take the word of a dirty fucking hippy?

          • Bill Ramsay

            try this for example

            http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/200…

he also said that he was a member of the house of lords, which he isn't, he collected nil votes from his peers to become an elected member of the house of lords.

I have no concern that he is a 'toff' as you put it. I've met many in my past. Who;s the hippy that you are referring to?

if carbon sequestration technology can be developed, then go for it. Otherwise, forget it. Maybe we should be testing the waters on Nuclear. although, from what I understand NZ is too small for that.

        • Hagues

why the heck would we want to sequester the carbon? It would be better if it was released back into the atmosphere and help the plants grow quicker!

          • Bill Ramsay

sorry it should have been CO2.

  • Johnboy

He could have made a more useful contribution to society by offering himself and the horse-faced woman as fuel for the locomotive.

  • Garfield Herrington

    He also uses homeopathy.

    • Bill Ramsay

which we all know is complete and utter bollocks.

      • http://www.facebook.com/ray.mcintyre Ray McIntyre

Ah yes right! God forbid there might be something outside your world-view that someone else agrees with.

        • Bill Ramsay

My world view is based on science, reason and an appreciation of the transcendent. None of which includes homeopathy and other sundry woo. I didn't quite understand your statement above, are you saying that homeopathy works? if you are, then you are sadly deluded. have a look at the 10:23 campaign that recently took place around the world where people 'overdosed' on homeopathic pills outside various chemists. there is a joke around that not taking any homeopathic pills, has the same effect as taking them. ie. zilch. James Randi does an excellent piss take of homeopathy when he does a talk at Google. It's on youtube.

  • Top Bloke

I'd wager that the use of coal to directly power a steam train would be more efficient than burning coal to produce electricity to power an diesel electric train

    • Sinner

Fuck yeah you lefty scum. produce electricity to power an diesel electric train

Christ. Thank you labour for the fucking socialist school system.

Who gives a fuck if its more or less efficient. Steam trains are fun. Tornado is way cool
ANd being named after fighter/bombers dealing with some of your lefty friends in the middle-east is way cooler!

      electricity for a diesel train…

      • Top Bloke

"Lefty scum" ??? – How is it that anyone who posts a view that might be contrary to the view here is automatically labeled as lefty scum?
My point is Steam trains might look like they are producing massive pollution / co2, but they just might be the better option than buring coal to produce electricity to power an electric train.

  • Bill Ramsay

I don't understand the point you are making, how do you burn coal to produce electricity to power a diesel electric train?

    • Top Bloke

As far I understand the majority of UK train system is Electric – eg overheard lines powering the trains

  • Bill Ramsay

very good. you should try http://www.onion.com too,

personally i thought that the LOTR trilogy was tedious, i fell asleep at the bit in episode 2 when the big trees were hoofing it.

No ones yet managed to explain to me what we were, or their relevance. Not that I'm really interested. I'm a bit of a continuity freak, and those films were riddled with continuity errors, mind you, they would be hard to control at the best of times.

The BBC are involved in the carbon market with a few billion of pension funds tied up in the carbon market. One of the many major world companys with most if not all fingers in the pie..http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/156703

  • Bill Ramsay

That's a very nice smear. Are you suggesting that the BBC is promulgating climate warming because the BBC pension fund has money tied up in carbon market. If so, and i suspect that you are pulling a long bow, that's a very serious allegation, you should present your information to the authorities in the UK.

Before you do that, let's see what you've got first, present it here. It's very easy to come up with these allegations, then once pummelled down, move on to the next pack of lies.

FYI, here's a statement from the bbc pension fund:

Pension contributions are paid into a trust fund which is invested by the Trustees and used to pay benefits. The fund is quite separate from the finances of the BBC and participating employers. It is used to provide benefits for the Scheme's members and their dependants.

You can sniff around in here for further details.
