Take his leg off him Crusher

Graeme Burton is a menace to society both inside prison and out of it. Why he isn’t strapped to a bed in a medically induced coma is beyond me. I resent that society has to pay for his upkeep, for want of a 50c bullet we cold literally save millions.

Graeme Burton about to stab an inmate

Graeme Burton about to stab an inmate

He was sentenced today to more preventative detention. Crusher Collins should take his leg off him and he should be permanently shackled and not released until he either dies or is a senile old man pissing his pants.

    Tazer him daily !

  • Titan-Uranus

But WO, he has rights, the right to be treated like a hooman bean ,kept in a prison holiday home free tv,3 hot meals per day all the gay sex he can handle.
Of course, he also has the right/responsibility to act like a fucking human as well ,obviously he has decided to relinquish that particular responsibility so my suggestion is supply him with a hook and a rope .

  • psychnurse

Don’t waste expensive medication keeping in a coma. The justice system needs to watch “Lock Up” on national geo channel. The yanks lock these guys up alone all day everyday for years.

  • http://whaleoil theresaj

According to his lawyer , he will now be kept in solitary confinement similar to American conditions. He stabbed the other inmate multiple times , almost another murder.

  • Mariobarb

I generally I am against the death penalty – except in cases like this. Why the cops did not put the bullet in his head as opposed to his leg is totally beyond me. (They prefer locking up woman because they can’t read dates?)

  • Fairfacts Media

    But which leg Whale Oil?

    • http://whaleoil.gotcha.co.nz Whaleoil

Trust you to focus on his legs, you probably got a hard-on after seeing all that skin. In fact as a taker you would probably enjoy some cell-time with Burton.

I’m going to only warn you once and this is it so listen carefully. I have no reason whatsoever to want the comments of the socially retarded gay son of a Yorkshire Pig Farmer living off their largesse while you wait for them to die polluting my site. Take your filthy dirty personage elsewhere, and don’t come back. You piss on my mates you go on the WOSL (Whaleoil Shit List) something that you can’t ever get off until I have pissed on your grave.

      Fuck off

Indeed Mario – a dose of lead poisoning, delivered from point-blank range at high velocity would save the taxpayer millions …

  • janine

BURTON is a perfect example of an area where we could outsource prison services. It is unlikely he will ever get out and rather than go to the expence of building a new prison, or assigning 15 guards to the one person could we not tender his custody out to foriegn authorities, who have specialised facilities for this type of offender [ie. Supermax]. I believe prisons in China or South America would see to his care well. Who else could we send? Joseph THOMPSON, William BELL, ..??

  • Mary

I think he should receive good medical treatment, like everyone else. However I don’t think mobility aids are at all appropriate in his case – the social utility of keeping him mobile is well into the negative range. In any case the loss of mobility is secondary to injuries received while commiting crimes, including murder.

Take his artificial leg off him, stick him in a wheelchair that has been nobbled to keep the speed and manouverability to a minimum. Or keep him in a locked cell.

  • Michaels

    EXACTLY WHALE!!!!
But take his left leg off but with an axe.

  • torreador

It is well known that Burton can use his titanium leg to muay thai kick a steel column with such force that everyone in jail knows he could easily snap another prisoners leg with the titanium prothesis. He is more dangerous with a titanium leg than he was with his real one.Duh

  • Gorakh

I don’t understand why the penalty for attempted murder is different from murder. The intent and actions are the same. Why should Burton get a break because emergency medical intervention saved the other scum’s life? The maximum sentence for attempted murder is 14 years and because it would be served concurrently, the judge couldn’t extend the existing non-parole period. What this means is that Burton effectively gets a free pass to do whatever the f**k he likes.

Why shouldn’t separate crimes attract cumulative sentences? Why are we giving crims a discount for bulk crime?

This vid is supposed to be D Block – maximum security. So why are all the scum allowed to mix? They are there because they are a danger to society, the guards and each other. Even prisoners have a right to safety and the easiest way to achieve this is to have them all locked alone in their cells all the time. Burton has a long history of threatening guards and standing over other prisoners. What were the prison authorities thinking letting him loose? And what kind of security do they have when he can get himself a shank?

Burton lost his leg committing a murder. If he wanted a new one, he should have had to pay for it himself.

He has a lead deficency that needs correcting urgently.

158 grains through the back of that ugly turnip should suffice- but best repeat the dose to be sure.

And give the coppers more range time!

  • Rach

I actually dont understand why he wasn’t in a high security area of the prison thats my first issue.
My second issue, is that they talk about when he is next going to be up for paroll which I think is laughable, I really do. Why would you let someone like this out AGAIN after he has murdered, been to jail, was given paroll and has murdered since then.
Watching this video shows how calm and collected he is in his violence, its like hes savouring the moment. Its like hes not angry or agressive, hes enjoying it.
People like this dont change by being locked up. I mean do people not get that he only isnt out murdering people because hes in jail? Oh wait he even managed attempted murder in jail, and the judge said it was only attempted murder because of the excellent job the surgeon did on his victim. People like this need to be removed from society perminantly.
Why in this country do we not have proper life in prison or the death penalty (which personally I dont endorce)?
Also why does he have a prosthetic (not sure of the spelling there)? He could probably beat a person with it. Surely he doesnt deserve to walk around like a normal person after the things he has done? I think someone should take it from him and give it to someone in a poor country that cant afford it.

    The Negatives
No real penalty as any new sentence will be served concurrently
    Legal aid cost
    Appeal cost
Cost of artificial leg which is more dangerous than flesh and blood
There is no hope whatsoever of rehabilitation
The Police officer failed to follow his training and shoot for the centre mass a so called marksman. For societies sake I hope he is no longer with the AOS.
    The Positives
Give me some help here people I’m struggling with this one.
    My Thoughts
Why aren’t these people in permanent lockdown? Lockdown for 23 hours a day 1hour recreation in yard by self. Not allowed out of cell without being fully shackled.
Leg replaced with polystyrene leg once a year when he breaks it, which he will almost immediately, he has to wait until the next year for the replacement.
No TV, No computer, No Cell phone and who would want to visit him.
Surely a Judge could make a call before a trial started, as he is already sentenced to the maximum and no additional penalty can be imposed that is of any use whatsoever. For what purpose would you proceed to trial with all the additional cost? Who benefits’ , from an expensive waste of time, with no realistic outcome.

  • http://fj Dex

Rob where do you get your information from that the officer who shot him was from the AOS?

Secondly where do you get your information from that the officer wasn’t shooting for the centre mass?

You appear to be extremely ignorant of not only the circumstances of what occurred but also in your knowledge of firearms and the difficulty involved in using a pistol to shoot a mobile offender at range.

  • Rob

Dex. An assumption given I thought it was reported as a rifle. Was it a pistol or a rifle? He was also supposed to be a marksman. I am also familiar with the difficulty of shooting at a moving target. Given events in Auckland with an innocent bystander being shot by Police Maybe the arms code should be required reading for our Police. I also saw the footage of a police officer shooting at a dog with a pistol.

  • Rob

What I like most about this blog is the lack of censorship. The only time that changes is when Whale is having an adverse reaction to his Meds. We need to hear both sides, the Good the bad and the ugly.

  • Michael

The officers who shot Burton was not AOS, just two constables placed to ensure no-one went into the Eastern Hutt firebreaks until after Burton was caught. They only had pistols and had to shot a moving target as Burton (who was armed) was running at them. He subsequently admitted it was an attempt at suicide by cop.

The other thing is Burton’s leg is paid for by ACC, despite the injury occuring as part of an illegal act.

  • http://fj Dex

Rob if you were remotely aware of what you were commenting on then you would know that shooting any target from a distance with a pistol is hard, let alone a moving one trying to kill you.

It seems to me that you just make things up to suit whatever random barely comprehensible crap you chose to inflict on this poor blog.

  • Steve

    @ Michael 1.11pm,
“The other thing is Burton’s leg is paid for by ACC, despite the injury occuring as part of an illegal act”

ACC did not pay for the leg, the Taxpayer did. That $10K should have gone to a Taxpayer wanting to get back to work (Delays and ongoing probs with ESU)

Instead, a non Taxpayer and a MAGGOT gets funded. Case Managers say he has RIGHTS …. fuck off

  • Beepee of Auckland

I remember when the Government ( Labour ) said ” He will not get any ACC funding for a new leg because it was injured in the commission of a crime” What a crock of shit. The then minister of ACC should be held accountable.

  • Doug

Just double bunk him in a cell with Clayton Weatherston and see who wins, then hold a lottery of New Zealand’s worst crims and find the next victim. Should save the country millions of dollars.

  • Rob

Michael thanks for clearing that up. It does highlight the point that our Police need a lot more training on the practical side of their job and less of the social engineering bull shit. If you are injured in the process of committing a crime society should not be picking up the cost.
Dex or is it Dexter. Thanks for reading “my ran¬dom barely com¬pre¬hen¬si¬ble crap”. The ratings do seem to be in my favour though. If you are injured in the process of committing a crime society should not be picking up the cost.

  • janine

Why give the cop that shot BURTON a hard time. In similar circumstances [BURTON trying to kill] one of the biggest baddest gang leaders in the country, in my mind dropped his bundle.

  • Roberto

Burton tried to kill a nasty gang member

    Whats the problem ?

  • BurtonsBalls

Burton reminds me of the maggots some health practitioners use to cleanse the dead skin off burn wounds….so a few H Block residents get a lesson in why not to come back to Pare…best reason for not getting locked up I have ever seen! my advice to Pare officials? Leave the cell doors open at night and give Burton access to as many shanks as he wants to make :)

  • Phillip Carroll

Perhaps he could be let loose on other heartless murderers as society’s revenge. I’m thinking W.Bell and C.Namana.Possibly even the young bloke who took
Libertys life should be given an appointment with Doctor Burton? If he goes through the prison system killing and maiming gang members and other scum then perhaps he could get some time off for services to the community?

  • Rob

No we can’t give him time off; I do not think he is capable of distinguishing between friend and foe. Having said that we could take advantage of his particular skill set. He will do the job that society will not do for free. Sounds like a win-win to me. Maybe we should not be in too much of a rush to spend 50 cents.

  • Roberto

To think , some lefties want a bullet for Burton to let the other maggots live.
