Why Should Steven Joyce listen to Telecom

So, yesterday the Telecommunications Commissioners recommended that the Government should work on a plan to reduce MTR charges, and ultimately costs to the customer, that is provided by Telecom and Vodafone.

I just have one question for Steven Joyce.

Why should we listen to Telecom and their plans for our mobile networks when their XT network is down around their ankles like a whore’s drawers?

Well should we?

    Well even worst now Labour has stumbled into the arena and is asking for govt. to intervene. It’s a private company it is not the govts job to do anything unless there’s dodgy practice.
    The govt. has too much crap to fix as it is. So grow up and realise that the as consumers or investors there’s risk involved.

    Perhaps the biggest question is still to be raised: given Alcatel’s now-publicly exposed methods of securing business around the world, were the tendering/evaluation methodologies employed by Alcatel and/or Telecom as rigorous as they should have been? Did a bit of extra money change hands to soften the blow of getting an inadequate ratshit product?
