Hide is Hitler – Andrew Williams

The Clown of Campbells Bay is shameful, not only did he mock the whole of New Zealand and the North Shore specifically yesterday but now he takes his tantrum throwing too far.

On his Facebook page he has posted a picture of Rodney Hide as as Adolf Hitler super-imposed over a Nazi Flag. The man is foul beyond belief.

Andrew will probably call a press conference now and claim that his Facebook page has been hacked and it is an ACT conspiracy, or else he will say he didn’t, it isn’t there and show the dunces in the media a cleaned up Facebook page, but the problem he has is that I have a screenshot plus the underlying code.

Portraying someone as a mass -murdering dictator responsible for the deaths of millions is disgusting, display that person on top of the most hated flag in the world is just filthy.

Misogynism can have strange outworkings – directed at people of either sex. How do we know Whaleoil has never pissed on trees … and why is that put forward as a standard – or is this humour?     Williams may indeed have received this from a third party. But it is an appalling lack of judgment on his part. By publishing it without adverse comment, he effectively endorses it.

    You can tell what a person is like by the company they keep. It was very interesting checking out Andrew Williams’ friends on his FB page – mostly those from the left of the political spectrum. Those who are leaders in the community should never make a “Hitler” joke. I think most Jewish people here in Auckland and on the North Shore would not think the Rodney Hide Hitler reference on Mayor Williams’ face book a joking matter. The North Shore Mayoral Saga is becoming so childish. We need another Dame Margaret to come and sort out the circus that the North Shore City Council has become – before it is too late.

    I don’t live in North Shore City so don’t really care about Williams other than to say that his election to office reflects badly on the constituents of the area. His continued presence as a mayor of a major city is an embarrassment for all NZers.

    Having said that, if the worst he can do is behave like a 4th former with corny references to Nazism then is he worth bothering with? It is a truism that alcoholics eventually self-destruct why not sit back and wait, Whale?

Little known and even less respected blogger BUMBER Bradbury would love that pic. After all on his LEFT WING HATE bogsite he has Rodney Hide (not once but twice) posing in a ‘Sieg Heil’ salute.     I agree with freedom of speech, however I think this is rude and potentially defamatory. Over on Phil Goff’s facebook page people call John Key “Adolf Key” and I think this is just as bad.
    I don’t get why people do this! It doesn’t help their cause, it just makes them look like a pathetic loser.

    Not to let the twat Williams off the hook at all, but dickheads will always be dickheads, and it’s up to the voters (that’s all of us) to keep them out of office. Most ratepayers couldn’t be bothered voting, so they get abot 25-30% turnout for the local body elections. And then most people don’t actually know or care anything about any candidates, unless one of them does something brainless enough to get mentioned in the local paper. Then just enough knuckleheads start thinking the candidate is a “character” and vote for the jerk. As a resident of west auckland I am well qualified to comment on this phenomena.
