Old Lady with Goat Horns

While David Farrar has posts about goat sex to try and lift his Google rankings and traffic I can go one better and have a post about an old lady growing goat horns! Why is it better? Well, surely if you are growing goat horns suggests albeit very obtusely that some goat sex must have been had somewhere, sometime.

An elderly Chinese woman has stunned her family and fellow villagers by growing from her forehead a horn than resembles a goat’s.

Grandmother Zhang Ruifang, 101, of Linlou village, Henan province, began developing the mysterious protrusion last year.

Since then it has grown 2.4in in length and another now appears to emerging on the other side of the mother of seven’s forehead.

The condition has left her family baffled and worried.

Her youngest of six sons, Zhang Guozheng, 60, said when a patch of rough skin formed on her forehead last year ‘we didn’t pay too much attention to it’.

‘But as time went on a horn grew out of her head and it is now 6cm long,’ added Mr Zhang, whose eldest brother and sibling is 82 years old.

‘Now something is also growing on the right side of her forehead. It’s quite possible that it’s another horn.’

Although, it is unknown what the protrusion is on Mrs Zhang’s head, it resembles a cutaneous horn.

This is a funnel-shaped growth and although most are only a few millimetres in length, some can extend a number of inches from the skin.

Cutaneous horns are made up of compacted keratin, which is the same protein we have in our hair and nails, and forms horns, wool and feathers in animals.

They usually develop in fair-skinned elderly adults who have a history of significant sun exposure but it is extremely unusual to see it form protrusions of this size.

Shit! There is even a Wikipedia page on goat horns. There is a warning though for Darren Hughes and other day-walkers, they should keep their hats on in the sun for sure, otherwise they’ll be called The Ginga Goat-Boy.

Which reminds of the story about Giuseppe the Goat Fucker…..Perhaps I’ll tell that another day.

Poor old lady – that is a very tragic pic.

Hopefully she will get some medical intervention.

She’s 101 garry, the only thing she is likely to get from the Chinese govt to help with her ailment is a bullet. back here in New Zealand we’d probably spend a million dollars on her for an operation then she would croak 2 days later.

Steve – gidday – nope quite wrong. I am not a resident on any other blog site mate. I genuinely meant my comment – in no other way at all.

However – in a spirit of openness – if you would like to expand on yor comments im quite happy with that. Most of your comment is all greek to me and obscure .. so if you want to explain it thats great – if not thats equally ok

    cheers

Initially I thought this was a basal cell carcinoma.

I have to say though it looks awfully symmetrical particularly matched with the second site.

  • spanishbride

At that age I doubt she cares.
If it was me I would cackle to WO …feeling horny tonight sweetheart?

While we are on the freak show theme, cast your eyes on this pair:

Cool Whale … im just a little jaded at present – and have to admit i’ve got a soft spot for the elderly … so i probably was such a wet blanket that i didnt appreciate the humour (just being upfront). I agree about wasting medical resource – we only make them live longer – unhappily (most want to go anyway).

My only concern for you mate – is that you never let your passion run a way with you – it would be a waste of the good that you have done and are still able to do.

There is an awful lot that you can say that is of real benefit to a lot of people regardless of their political hue mate. Just exercise caution where you can my friend.

    Cheers

Gary, if you look at the Wikipedia link, You will see it is a bit like a hair or a nail. All you need is a sterile scalple to trim it back to the skin. Sure it will grow again, but you just need to repeat trimming it back from time to time. Saves a few thousand bucks on an operation.

  • garry

Cheers for that Grizz. I’ve gotten out of wet blanket zone now – lucky Whale has enough offbeat humour for all of us.

Now if i grow horns – i too know what to do .. thanks Doctor Grizz!

By the way Whale and others – i got a lot of mileage out of the “bullshit” TV presentation vid posted yesterday – i’ve sent the link all over the globe and everyone is splitting their sides … moreover its true.

In our house at present the saying every 5 minutes is “…im just some f##king guy…”

    Cheers

    Garry,
I genuinely thought you were Trev’s bot Spud. Just the sympathetic comment about the horn was exactly what Spud would say.
I was wrong. WO says you are not a leftie troll.
    I appologise.

Garry just comes across as a nice genuine person, I’ve noticed a lot of his comments have been down trodden as the majority of “us” (I do include myself) are insincere in our posts and fill our writings with a substantial amount of sarcasm (not pointing the finger at anyone WO LOL), previously I read his posts as being pessimistically or optimistically sarcastic in a very dry sense of humour but have realised over time that he’s not either of these he’s just being sincere with absolutely no sarcasm, thank you Garry for being the voice of reason we sometimes overlook.

Gidday Steve – no worries mate – im beginning to understand how this blogging stuff works. Nope im not a leftie troll lol … i dont want to know what one of those looks like either ugh.

Cheers for the apology – i really appreciate it.

Im not the most robust guy for this environment – and i’ve sort of informed the whale of this through some of my posts … but i am genuinely trying to see peoples views. I’m also toughening up a bit too…

I like the whale – he is a rambunctious annoying and intensely opinionated guy – he says the things that we all think but never thought we could express. I am not entirely of his political hue – but i think we need direct thinkers and speakers.

I dont want to get dragged into swearing or trying to say the things that i think others want to hear. It gets tricky when you come online here and i have to admit i’ve sometimes felt like a nude bather chucked in a tank of piranha (for the nibbly bits) and Sharks (for the bigger bits). But its good for character development.

Im not a leftie …. i believe we have weakened our culture through many actions taken – the rot started with the 1984 election (in my opinion). Political Correctness has only meant more ways for the rot to permeate our whole nation. I believe in strong government – that does its best for its people – doesnt buy into ‘fads’ and doesnt constantly look for new things to legislate against. I remember a preacher i heard exhort his congregation to be defined by “what you are for … not what you are against”. I think that successive govts have established a tack of saying who and what they are against – what are they actually for…??? i could suggest that maintaining personal freedoms for leisure and the pursuit of happiness is a start (to borrow from the yanks constitution)

And another old presbyterian preacher once said to a young chap who was protesting about the truth needing to be heard … The elderly venerable gentleman said “young man – the truth is like a caged lion – you just open the door and let it out” (im not a christian folks – so im not preaching or bible bashing … if I think a thing is true i will use it!).

Just my views – so cheers for that Steve -and thanks thebanker … a guy called jabba first queried me online here as to whether i was either sincere – or taking the piss. He was very astute i thought – as i had worked out that people would be a bit quizzical.

Cheers to all and to the Whale – a very brave gentleman.
