Nickpocrisy

John Ansell draws attention to Nick Smith’s hypocrisy over emissions trading and dubs it Nickpocrisy. I think that make a nice nickname for Nick Smith and so it is added to the Politicianary.

TO Nick Smith…….Carbon is Latin for coal/charcoal.That carbon is the forth most abundant chemical element in the universe by mass. The amount of carbon is constant, thus processes that use carbon and obtain it and dispose it somewhere else..known as the CARBON CYCLE..Carbon is essential to all known living things without it,life would not exist. What next nick…a tax on PHOTOSYNTHESIS….

As a business owner and not a leftie (although I have never belonged to any party)i can NEVER vote for ANY party that believes in AGW.John and Nick are both complete bloody limp wristed dickheads. How the fuck they think we can compete with any other country and not keep on sliding down the OECD average has got me buggered.Maybe they have a plan?but I bet dollars to donuts that like the crew before them they havent got a clue. You know its just so fucken sad to see all our children slowly disapear to live in Ausy, although not hard to see the reasons why they go.

Re: Greedy Government trying to increase Tax take.
Introduce New Taxes wherever possible any reason will do.
Put up existing Taxes and say most people will be better off, but not exactly say who, how or why.
Gave up long ago on keeping up, let alone catching up with OECD or Australia.
Have zero answers on how to improve the lot of New Zealand, concentrating on maintaining status quo, and spouting populist crap whilst doing and for that matter saying nothing.

Agree with you all. I just sent this to my MP to remind him of the Nats hypocrisy. Suggest you do the same.
The problem is that National know that we have no other choice as Goffs mob are an even worse pack of twats.

Well put, Andretti.(and the rest of you)

We really are stuck between a rock and a stupid place with the past and present bunch of traitor parasites running the country down the gurgler.

In any sane country they’d say “Crikey, there’s a cool 12 billion dollars of minerals under that hill, let’s get it”.

Here it’s all “Oooh, what about the insects? There’s a colony of lesser spotted stripey-backed suction-cup-footed hairy-legged leaf-curler caterpillars under a rock there. Who wants that 12 billion dollars anyway?”

Can’t have industry here. Ooh no. Might lead to a richer country, that can pay people like doctors more. May even result in better services and infrastructure. Next we’ll be wanting better living standards, more money, reliable phones and power. Where will it all end?
