Loving the Labour Party

Don’t you gotta love the Labour Party.

Firstly Whanau Ora was too much for the damn last cab off the rank to handle or to know what to do with it effectively. Labour knows best how to spend money.

Then it is not enough. And how rude to use a picture of Double Happies when Labour are the party that banned fireworks and fun.

“Firstly Whanau Ora was too much for the [Maori Party] to handle or to know what to do with it effectively. Labour knows best how to spend money.”

Cam … that isn’t what the Labour Party media statement says. You’re making stuff up.

    “Then it is not enough.”

Cam … that’s not fair either. Curran is looking at the Whanau Ora policy funding and saying “so what?” Essentially, Whanau Ora is a whole lot of funding that’s already been set up by Labour, plus a bit more for your hated bureaucrats to do administration, gathered together and given a new Maori name. If Labour had done this policy, you’d be apoplectic!

BTW, for those who can’t bring themselves to check facts, Curran says: “…the Government will fund Whanau Ora from the Pathways to Partnership programme. That fund was set up by Labour to fully fund 800 Non-Government Organisations to deliver social services in communities. So where’s the major shift?”

Oh, and here’s Helen Clark’s PM Statement to Parliament in 2008: http://www.beehive.govt.nz/speech/statement+to+parliament+2008

Your point about Double Happies … if National fail to allow thm, will you accuse John Key f continuing a ban on fun? If not, why not?
