Len Brown channelling Obama

Len Brown - It's Our TimeGood grief, who is advising Len Brown? Oh wait, its Labour apparatchik Conor Roberts.

Len Brown has a full page ad in the Herald today and it is straight out of the Obama playbook. They even stole the fricken by-line.

Len Brown is dull, boring and un-original. If that is the best his team can come up with, a rip off of Obama’s campaign then he is doomed.

I guess it could have been worse he could have sung to Auckland, or rapped, or even danced.

To channel Obama or Shrillary or who ever at Democratic HQ shows just how out of touch Len Brown is with Aucklanders.

The ad itself is just waffle and meaningless platitudes.

Labour have hung their hat on this chump, they will fall along with him.

Wednesday Weapons – Hard Arse Wife

Not many wives would do this today. Testing bulletproof glass the old fashioned way.

Is Phil Goff a dick?

Yep, based on setting himself up for this question, a complete dick. Labour’s backbenchers must cringe every time the muppet gets up to ask a question. The worst aspect of this whole Question is that Goff just kept on sucking up the hidings. A more comprehensive shellacking hasn’t been seen for quite some time.

These guys know what to do with a bottle of Heineken far better than Daffodil.

Daffodil is right

Daffodil Mallard is right.

The last time I can remember a process like that used for the Pacific Economic Development Agency it was for the Pipi Foundation. Donna Awatere ended up in prison.

Ministers shouldn’t make decisions to give their mates money. To do it for a group associated with mates who have campaigned publicly for them is foolish.

Proper accountability requires an expression of interest and/or a tender process. Preferably both. It leaves the decision to proceed with a chief executive not a politician.

For many years the National Party has accepted lower standards of accountability from Maori and Pacifica groups.

And to hear a Minister of the Crown confess on the radio this morning that they got the money because they lobbied the Prime Minister made me shudder.

Daffodil is dead right. Proper accountability is very important. I hope that Daffodil is as serious about ALL indiscretions as he is with this. You see it seems Daffodil’s comment apply well to the contract that Len Brown helped organise for his mates. In fact, it is worse, because MCC did go through a public tender process, and Len Brown and his Labour mates made the decision to overturn the Tenders Panel recommendation so that the contract could go to a Trust that is run by friends, former colleagues, and political supporters of the Mayor.

I would like to see Daffodil write a blog post like that against his Labour mates. Not likely to ever see that though.

Missing the Point

Nasty leftists like to see people suffer. Better still they like to use their suffering to score a political point.

Take Frog, the taxpayer funded apologist for the Greens. Like a little anonymous cunt he uses my case against Fidelity Life as proof positive that ACC is the be all and end all, the nirvana, the utopia against insurance companies.

Contrary to the little cnts assertions and his cnty little pinko friends I still support the opening up of competition to ACC.

You see if their a+b=c math equation using my case as an example where a = policy holder and b = problems with private insurer and c = Insurance companies are evil, then the equation for ACC is exactly the same. There isn’t a ACCForums for nothing you know. There aren’t stories about ACC in the news every week for nothing you know.

There is no nirvana, but I would rather have a system where legal re-dress is available, where naming and shaming is always an option and the market can lift them or hurt them as the case may be.

So, you pinko, greenie cnts out there who want to use my case, and my particulars, be very wary what you write lest it bites you on the arse. Despite all my grief with Fidelity Life I would still want the monopoly of ACC assaulted and beaten with the stick of privatisation and competition, you see when they are a monopoly they can fuck you over far worse than small isolated cases like mine.

Ouch!

Lawyer against Freedom of Speech

Mike Antunovic doesn’t believe in freedom of speech. He wants to ignore what has already been said, hide like his chicken-shit client behind the veil of name suppression and now wants someone to shut my site down.

Fuck off Mike AntunovicDefence lawyer Mike Antunovic today called for action against the “renegade” who named his client.

“The whole situation is just totally outrageous and I can’t understand why nothing has been done about it,” he told NZPA.

“When judges make suppression orders, they mean what they say. I would’ve thought that anyone who deliberately breaches a judge’s order … (would) be dealt with swiftly.”

Mr Antunovic questioned why the website had not been shut down.

“Why is he allowed to get away with this?

“It really goes right to the heart of the criminal justice system, doesn’t it. What faith can anyone have, in whose favour an order is made suppressing their name, when some renegade like this man in Auckland can choose to deliberately release the name on his website?”

Mr Antunovic said Judge Harding had been made aware of the website.

Listen up Mike Antunovic, because you seem to be very dim-witted. You can’t shut my site down. I’d like to see anyone try. Furthermore I’ll tell you what cuts to the heart of the justice system, dodgy deals done under the guise of name suppression. Mates covering mates, the mere appearance of corruption. That is what destroys a justice system not naming someone in court. Pull you head out of your arse and realise that this law is rooted, that I am challenging it and I intend to not stop.

Nothing fills me with more than contempt than people playing the system. I will not stop, even if I am behind bars.
