An interesting new weapon discovered

The MSM repeaters have discovered a new weapon. A quick google search confirms that my prodigious knowledge of weapons is indeed correct and no such rifle even exists.

…most of them shot in the face or head at point-blank range either with a shotgun or a high-powered telescopic rifle.

Which was it then? The Shotgun? or the amazing new high-powered telescopic rifle?

I wonder if the barrel was fully extended, or if the the whole rifle was telescopic?

I’ll give you a dollar to a knob of goat-shit that the high powered telescopic rifle will turn out to be a .22 with a scope on it.

Of course the media neglect to observed that in the country with perhaps the most stringent gun laws in the world 12 people got gunned down by a nutter. An unarmed population is always at risk from nutters with guns. In states with open carry in the USA I doubt he would have killed even 2 of them.

    From the timesonline.co.uk :

“He turned around and stared at me and he had this absolutely huge sniper rifle,” Mr Moss told the BBC.

“It was almost touching the floor, massive scope and everything.”

So yeah – probably a .22 – its just with the gun laws over there they dont know what a rifle actually is.

Still – this tragic event just shows that guns dont kill people – people kill people and no amount of nannystate rules will stop it.

You make it sound like states that allow open carry have very 5th person with a gun in a holster. And any way for this sort of thing hidden or in a vehicle would do as well. But it doesnt happen. You are more likely to see an armed policeman ( or like the NZ cops hiding somewhere).
There only a handful of states that prohibit open carry..

Seven states and the District of Columbia fully prohibit the open carry of firearms. Additionally, there are eleven states which permit open carry without requiring the citizen to apply for any permit or license.

of course dozens are killed in mini masscares EVERY year in the US . While the UK has one every 15 years or so.

Tart, I think you will find that the vast majority of the so-called massacres that you talk of in the US occurred in areas Pinkos declared no-gun zones. That makes the pickings very rich in deed for the nutter who doesn’t care about a silly arbitrary no-gun zone.

And when our cops cower behind their cars and a shop keeper dies the moral high ground of saying “Call the Cops, they’ll deal with it” goes right out the window.

If cops can’t and won’t deal with violent crime, the citizenry must be able to protect themselves. The sooner we allow open carry here the sooner south auckland will be cleaned up.
