Digesting a fatal dose of lead

This robber won’t be doing any more robbing after digesting a fatal dose of lead.

A would-be robber was shot dead in a bungled robbery of a security van at Dee Why on Sydney’s northern beaches today.

The armed man was shot in the chest after he and another man tried to rob three security guards after they picked up cash from the RSL in Pittwater Road just after 1.30pm today.

Police tried to revive the man but he was pronounced dead after being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

Shame, that’ll teach him for trying to rob three security guard who were armed. The other robber is on the run.

Now you can see why I say people should be able to bear arms, it stops robbers dead.

    Whale, you seem to have omitted from your story the fact that an innocent bystander, standing some distance away waiting for a bus, was also shot. He wasn’t killed, but I bet he’s not a big fan of gun proliferation right now.

    I cannot understand why cash containers with dye bombs are not generally used by security companies. They would render the cash useless in hands of the crooks while still allowing the rightful owner to swap it out for fresh cash at the Reserve Bank. Even if the Reserve Bank charges a fee for issuing the replavement cash, it would still be win-win all round.

    Like my parents used to say if a job is worth doing it is worth doing right. Problem solved
    On the positive side the gene pool in Australia has just improved, the average IQ has just improved ongoing lifetime costs to the taxpayer have been reduced, no one to whinge on with a book of lame excuses about how he did not mean to do it etc etc etc. All in all not a bad result.

    I`d take a bullet to the ankle, if it meant some lowlife piece of shit was removed from the planet whilst committing a crime.
    The bleeding hearts here may like to grow some balls.
