Jim's campaign is rooted

I’d call Jim Anderton’s attempt to become a triple-dipper trougher as over.

The Timaru Herald editorial also puts the slipper in to Jim Anderton.

Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker’s leadership has been flawless. His political arch rival Jim Anderton must feel like Cinderella stuck at home while the disaster ball is in full swing.

Certainly it would be hard to imagine Mr Anderton’s case for being a part-time mayor while he continued his MP duties now stacking up as a viable proposition.

It was questionable before the earthquake, and the disaster makes Mr Anderton’s position now look nonsensical.

Electing Bob the Rebuilder would seem a more sensible option, and the polls show Mr Parker has been making good gains on Mr Anderton.

Heh, Bob the Re-Builder…I like that.

I also heard that apparently Jim is on the end of a shovel waiting for the media to take his picture.

But who would be interested in a 70 year old geezer moving a little bit of sand and collapsing on his hands and knees wheezing from the effort.

And on that subject can anyone imagine Len Brown’s heart holding up if Auckland were to suffer a similar disaster.

It’s time for Anderton to quit, while he still maintains a modicum of dignity.

Poor old Jims Shares are dropping faster than Whores Draws.

By midday on Saturday Bob Parker’s grace, style, competence and sensitivity had already buried Jim Il-Sung beneath his very own pile of rubble!*

If Jim had any grace himself he’d throw in the towel now. But he won’t. Parasites cannot measure themselves against decent people.

    * His revolting semblance of political relevance.

Even better resign before the election, and show the voters how much he believes in himself.

Anderton still has a modicum of dignity? Can’t say I believe it myself.
Anyway, yeah – he should bugger off to a retirement home.
