Typical Lawyer Response

Oh just typical, a lawyer…who didn’t declare his conflict of interest, yes he was a lawyer acting for one of the those who shall not be named, says tougher penalties will work on stopping people breaking name suppression orders.

Philip Morgan QC from the Law Society’s Criminal Law Committee says the fines currently applicable aren’t big enough – and the Crown should have charged him with more serious offences.

The answer is more open-ness in our court system not tougher penalties. What a dick. Stick letters after their name, they think they are all important.

Philip Morgan QC supports tougher penalties for those seeking the naming and shaming of pedophiles and the continued hiding of pedophiles. Philip Morgan QC is now a Pedobear Approved lawyer. He will be a good mate of Simon “FIGJAM” Power’s for sure.

Another misguided lawyer not in touch with reality.

The legal system the way it is structured, obviously makes him a very healthy living.

Further legislation only lines the pockets of those who structure it. Get real !!!

The question is what Philip Morgan QC has to hide. Is it just plain greed name suppression as an opportunity to charge or is there something else.

Civil disobedience aimed at overturning unjust laws has a long and noble tradition, extending in modern times from Gandhi to Martin Luther King Jr. Any lawyer worth his arsewipe piece of paper should acknowledge and celebrate this.

Laws are made by politicians and politicians may be venal, vapid, or just incompetent. New Zealand in particular has a history of legislation so poorly thought out and lashed together that subsequent adjustment or repeal is often required. Copyright, anti-terrorism and the Foreshore and Seabed Act spring to mind. Unfortunately, there are innumerable examples.

Everyone accused of a serious crime should have automatic name suppression until found guilty. This is fair because genuinely innocent people can be damaged forever by mistaken prosecutions.

There is a case for permanent name suppression in special circumstances when victims would be additionally victimised. The mechanism for granting this needs to be based on a lot more than the decision of a senile old fart who probably belongs to the same country club as the perp.

Everyone else, without exception, should either have their names disclosed or not, but all should be treated equally regardless of any other circumstances. If names are to be disclosed, then who cares if a pillar of the community loses his businesses, or a musician his recording contract, or a comedian his TV slot? They should have thought of that before they diddled the kiddies. The fact that the rich and famous have more to lose is hardly a reason to go easier on them. In this I fully endorse and support Whaleoil’s campaign.

It is now time to ratchet this up. The way to force a change in these unjust laws is to get a lot of people in Guy Fawkes masks to break them. There’s no reason why Slater should have to continue to be a sole martyr. Let’s set up any number of overseas blogs using Tor (a simple proxy isn’t enough to hide your tracks) and invite interested parties to post any names they have directly to those. This would bring the whole house of cards down while keeping Slater in the clear. Even better, set up an anonymous email account (no publication taking place) and give everyone the login. If the authorities aren’t going to play fair, why should we?

Talking about suppression orders, did you hear what was said in Parliament afternoon?

Is Whale going to rail against this particular suppression as well?

Of course ,we won`t see Philip Morgan Queens Cunt, calling for tougher penalties for those who rape their wives ,murder their children now ,will we?

    No?
Did`nt think so,its far too lucrative to have these scum roaming our streets, I mean ,how is he going to afford a new Porsche, if his clients get their names in the paper?

I am a little confused at what is going on in this country, here we have an esteemed member of our legal profession falsifying a sovereign document and perpetrating identity theft.

Firstly there is no prosecution and then there is permanent name suppression.

I am sure if i had done this i would have been thrown in the Slammer and had my name splashed over every paper in the land.

Whale can you please explain how this works???

Cos ,Grasshopper, you don`t know the secret handshake.
