An email from a fool

I have just received an email.

From: 박의초
To:  Whaleoil

Hi there,

I am emailing you concerning about an article on your website (Albany Superette — Get all your P supplies there).
I am one of the son of the Albany Superette and this article is a clear defamation, breach of privacy, and based on wrongful facts.
Therefore, I want this article to be removed within next 24hours.
If not, I will be contacting my lawyer to deal with this problem.

I hope this article gets removed as soon as possible without any further problem.

Oh dear, Mr Park doesn’t know too much about the Whale does he?

First a little legal lesson. The legal defence to defamation is truth. Defamation, to be proven has to be false…there is nothing false in the post or in the video or in the photos, they are all factual, they are all in or about Albany Superette. The facts are not in dispute, before I posted the video I visited the store and actually bought something there in order to verfy that what I saw in the video was the same in reality.

I stand by everything I have said in my post and all of the content of the video, as do my informants.

Here is my reply to Mr Park.

I also note that the email address you used to send this email is the same one used to comment as a customer…that makes you a liar and a sneak…ask your lawyer how that will look in court.

Mr Park is Korean, I have replied using polite Korean at the start and beginning of my email. Any racist rants will be edited from this post. It matters not that Mr Park is from Korea.

UPDATE: The fool son is also commenting on the video, this time pretending to live just up the road and that he knows the owner….he should do, he is his son, one of the three that came and assaulted my informant.

    If english isnt your first language you could make a mistake in thinking the P is in addition to the drug paraphenalia.
    AS for privacy , its laughable. No doubt their lawyer will make a few grand sending an overblown letter.

      As I have said before, the cops have a separate budget for road traffic enforcement, so the road patrol cops cannot simply be redeployed on crook catching etc. This is Parliament’s decision and is supported by both major political parties. You can give me all the red ‘thumbs down’ in the world but this is merely shooting the messenger.

    What a cheek to send an email like that one and to pretend that he is a customer! I call it organised crime. The police should be doorknocking on Edward Park’s father’s door pretty soon! If they don’t then there is something very, very wrong with the drug laws in this country.

    Does anybody here seriously believe that removing glass pipes from a dairy will do the slightest bit of good in terms of fighting the “P problem”? It seems to me that people are really just treating this as an excuse to be outraged in order to show off their moral credentials. Okay, okay. We get it. You hate drugs and everything to do with drugs. Kudos to you. But the more I think about this, the less I give a shit about pipes. Who are the real criminals here? Not the people selling pipes, not the people who want to get high and got addicted (not that I’m saying I have any kind of sympathy for anyone who gets fried and goes and shoots a dairy owner). Who really profits here? The gangs. They profit out of getting people addicted. They profit out of getting people fucked up and those profits fund their other criminal enterprises.
    So as fas as the dairy is concerned… If it’s currently illegal to sell those pipes then by all means, get the police involved. But do it properly. Find enough dairies involved to make it worth the while of the police or don’t bother at all. If you make this about one dairy, it just looks like it’s personal and petty.

    I assume the pictures of the informant’s bruises will be forthcoming? TIA :)
