Why we aren't freaking out

Bomber et al think that the right is “freaking out” at silly faux polls mainly from the Sunday Star times and Horizon.

I have news for Bomber, we aren’t freaking out, we are laughing, at them,  that him and his pals are clinging to that small glimmer of hope.

But have you wondered just why it is that the Sunday Star-Times keeps coming up with these dodgy polls showing how Labour can win with Winston’s help. The answer seems obvious on Facebook.

The editor of the Sunday Star-Times is David Kemeys.

Of his 53 friends, he has a plethora of Labour MPs and others lefties, and not a single National MP.

One of his only two fan pages is of Phil Goff. His friends include Labour MPs Jacinda Ardern, Ashraf Choudhary, Phil Goff, Sua William Sio, David Cunliffe and Shane Jones plus Labour candidates Conor Roberts and Neelam
Choudhary as well as Len Brown. Conor Roberts is Len Brown’s brilliant spin weasel for those who didn’t know.

Maybe the Sunday Star-Times should just rebrand itself as The Standard 3.0″

My answer to Bomber and his mates is simple.

Do as I did – I cancelled the SST many months ago as it was becoming a very silly and peurile paper, obviously with an unbalanced direction to follow.

Look at its main feature writers and you can see what I mean.

    Ignore the stupid paper.

  • grizz

I have not bought the SST in years. Compared to other newspapers it was very dumbed down. Perhaps this just reflects it target audience and the fact that it is just a tabloid and not a real newspaper. People like Bomber are never afraid to let the truth get in the way of a good story, so let them champion this said poll.

On another note, Whale, you have been regularly asking “Are you better off under National?” An equally challenging question though is “Will you be better off under Labour?” Apart from paying less GST on my Fruit and veg and the likely increase in taxes, I have not seen any policy to evaluate this.

So you are very ‘relaxed’ about the poll – now.?

Didnt sound like it late saturday, you and faffar started noising off before the presses had even run. No doubt panic pants had something more in his pants so sent out alarms early to rouse the bloggers who are finally allowed to be inside the tent only if they pee out. ( that story of yours about the journey to Wellington and faffars little travel memoir allowed the clued up to fill in the details).
To be honest I thought you would have loved the results of the poll as it showed Labour even lower than normal, except it showed up the other polls who pad the numbers of everybody else , school cert style.
Tell me again how can other polls be more accurate when they add numbers to most parties even when they didnt get those numbers supporting them.
Its an old trick well used by the global warming industry.
Because everybody does it doesnt mean its its correct.
The truth is out , the undecideds have their decision made for them by polls other than horizon. WHo knew?
We will be able to compare all polls January numbers and the election results and see who was closest.
I think that fisk will turn into an harpoon Whale

I can just picture Bomber & his Socialist comrades self pleasuring themselves as a result of this tectonic shift to the left in the balance of power here in Aoteoroa.

I guess it stands to reason that the pinko’s need to cling to anything that even remotely suggests a “win” as they will be few & far between for the remainder of the year.

The goof was all over the results like flies on shit which doesn’t surprise me given the precarious state of his leadership. Let’s wait & see how vocal & enthusiastic he is when the more universally respected poll results come out.

That Mediatart has had to write such a lengthy rebuttal suggests that you are right on the mark Cam. Perhaps she is one of Kemey’s 53 friends …

Bradbury, the village idiot of the rabid left who is a D-grade media commentator (but apparently an A-grade antique plate collector) concludes that the other structured polls are ‘brainfart bullshit’, and proudly endorses the Horizon rouge poll because it is closer to what he wants. Last year he conducted his own “faux poll” where he interviewed his MacBook Pro and proclaimed “I’m getting a lot of feedback from people who voted for Key who are now furious with their decisions and I think there’s a real chance National could go in the next election”
So Bumber, where does that leave your new ‘Left Wing Party’ now with its three policies straight out of the Green’s manifesto?

Why aren’t we freaking out? Because it’s a steaming pile of shit. I stopped reading that turd of a paper years ago. Those dirty filthy lefties wish that they were going to get that result but I’m pretty sure it’s, at best, a typo.

“the Sunday Star-Times should just rebrand itself as The Standard 3.0″

    Boom Boom Tish

Instead of Tumeke’s post being called “The reason the right wing are freaking out about the Horizon Poll”, it would have been more honest if it were called “The reason we wish the right wing were freaking out about the Horizon Poll”.

Maybe the paper sould be renamed “The Sunday Red Star-Times”.

    • mediatart

How can it be ‘red star’ times when the poll showed Labour with lower numbers than other other polls. Normally this would have the whale doing a war dance and predicting the end for Goff -allready!

But instead there is a concerted attack on the ‘methods’ used to get these numbers, where they ask the voters who are are ‘undecided’. Lets face it if you are not in love with Goff or Key by now you are never going to be, and are most likely to vote minor party.
The normal polls just pad the major partys vote by allocating the undecideds themselves, climate change style,
      Get real fellas

Any poll that ranks NZ First that highly is a load of bollocks.
