Dealing with Trolls

It seems that Farrar is having a problem with a troll. The troll is getting stroppy.

UPDATE: Todd says he was going to expose me to the media, but when I blogged his complaint letter so the media could see it, he then decided he did not want it public and filed a copyright complaint with my ISP. Hence I have removed most of his e-mail from the post. The remaining sections fall under fair use provisions.

So in the interests of exposing the stroppy troll and his poor behaviour I now post the troll’s email to DPF that I got out of the Google cache and because aw my post, and unlike DPF I’m not a chicken. Sunlight is always the best disinfectant.

I can’t hardly wait for the troll to try and attack me.

    This is just total Fuckwittary from Todd. He made repeated posts about eating brains and other similar grotesque statements. It was not debate, but mad, lunatic rantings from someone in need of a straightjacket. It went beyond tolerance by even the most hardened reader.

    Sadly this individual is far to arrogant to apologise for their abhorent behaviour and accept they crossed a line. Instead they wish to go down a legal pathway and sue. What a dickhead!

    Look at it another way. If I ran a shopping mall and some lunatic sat down and ranted on repeatedly about eating brains and other acts of cannibalism, I would evict them and tell them not to come back. Chances are, the courts would side with me, not with the lunatic.

    I think you need to go a step further Cam and expose him for exactly who he is = name address, phone number – the whole bloody lot. See him then moan like an unpaid whore?

    All of mine, harpoon. I don’t give a shit, for I never write emails that could so easily be construed as coming from a complete plonker. Perhaps poor Todd doesn’t realise he’s doing this, and apparently, neither do you.
