Len Brown – I do what I want

Len Brown is currently in the middle of a mess of his own making. Just like his credit card spending fiasco he is breaking one of the immutable laws of politics, he is explaining and therefore he is losing.

The pressure is telling too.

In an interview with Marcu Lush this morning on Radio Live he lost his cool and told Marcus Lush “I do what I want” when asked about his interesting views on public transport.

Len Brown thinks the media are being unfair on him for his hypocrisy of pretending to take public transport when he in fact uses three cars to make the whole thing work.

Have a listen to the Radio Live piece. Sorry in advance for the poor quality.

It is obvious that Len Brown believes in public transport but as is usual for pinko hypocrites public transport is for other people not him. He just pretends he is into public transport. No other pulic transport user gets to have a driver take their car into town for them. Len Brown as a politician is a flake and only as deep as his slogans, scratch the surface and you find that he has nothing else there. He is a show pony that has gone lame.

“Sorry in advance for the poor quality.”

Don’t be too harsh on yourself Cam, its hardly your fault we have Len as our Mayor.

It is not necessarily Len Brown that is the problem, it is the tossers that voted this dickhead in. Sorry Aucklanders, that means you. The signs were already there when he bitchslapped himself during a public meeting.

Having Len there does have one big advantage for National, it is one less thing the Left can carp on about. An Auckland greenie reckoned that the Super City was going to be the downfall of National, but this seems less likely with Len in the hot seat.

He certainly had his buttplug set to “whiney” for that interview. I trust Banksie is watching this debacle unfold and plotting a return. He could campaign on a platform of “It’s me or 3 more years of Len”.
