Don’t forget to get your Worm software

The worm is back tonight:

Expect even more relentless repetition of upbeat language than usual from Prime Minister John Key and Labour leader Phil Goff as the worm returns for tonight’s leaders’ debate on TV3.

The debate will use the Roy Morgan Reactor, more commonly known as “the worm”, to measure the response of a studio audience of undecided voters selected for a balance of gender and age.

You can download the Roy Morgan Reactor App (the Worm) for people with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch from the Apple App Store.

For those with Android devices you can get it from the Android Marketplace.

For those of you who think you can’t be bothered, check out this email sent to the Labour email database last night by Trevor Mallard. Labour are going to try to stack the worm in their favour…all power to them, but we can’t let them have it all their own way.

I suspect we may see more of a square wave depending on who is speaking and who has the most supporters using the reactor.

Haha, I think you are right!  I have downloaded and installed the app so I can do my part.  Should be a laugh.

Trevor is a twat and speaks in riddles.
To use “strong” and “Labour” and “led” all in the same sentence is just stupid.

    • Justout

      I Agree he’s a fool..

    • Kosh103

No, using ‘Key’ and ‘honest’ in the same sentence is just stupid.

  • James Stephenson

The comments at the (iphone) app store seem to suggest that the app itself is shit and doesn’t work.

I have an overseas visitor and just explained the idiocy of this to him.  He suggested the politicians should be wired up so they receive electrical current when the worm turns against them.

I think he’s got an idea there.  If implemented, I’d actually watch that.

Petal, I’m not sure the Clyde Dam has enough juice to give the bastards the shock they deserve.
