Labour nasties took a pasting

Todd McClay, Sam Lotu Iiga and Tim MacIndoe all won on Saturday, with increased majorities.

Unsurprisingly they were also standing against some Labour nasties. Steve Chadwick, Carol Beaumont and Sue Moroney. Only Sue Moroney remains in parliament after the blood bath of November 26.

Another Labour nasty who is now unemployed was Carmel Sepuloni. She took the fight in Waitakere to Paula Bennett but Paula showed a great deal of mongrel and proved more adept at wrestling with pigs than the Septic Tank.

There is a moral in this story. If you want to be nasty, spiteful and awful then you will lose to candidates who are likeable and real. Having a sneering smack bum face all the time doesn’t endear you to voters.

Cam, did you see the clip from the debating chamber when Lockwood-Smith almost tossed her out of the chamber?  It’s quite proper this Septic Woman is not back – her viscious contempt for the House was unbelievable, brat at worst.

As for the “Peters nasty” – there is one guaranteed way to take the wind out of his sails.  Make sure that the mixed-ownership of the assets really does keep 51% in government hands. If the iwi take another (say) 20%, then that’s 71% in the country, and iwi have said that they won’t on-sell their share to anyone else.
So Peters can moan and bitch all he likes, but all the government has to do is say “look at the scoreboard”.
    Keep it simple.

I’m lucky enough to live in Sam’s electorate & he’s a real good bastard. Beaumont was presented with Maungakiekie by labour as an absolute socialist fortress in 2005 presumably because she was Secretary of the CTU. She lost it to Sam Lotu Iiga by 1900 votes but got in as a scum list MP. Maungakiekie didnt forget that travesty in 2011 and she lost by almost 3000 votes.
The good news is that she’s gone but the bad news is that she is next on the list to come back if someone falls over. In the interim the sisterhood will find her a cushy job somewhere.

Also in same electorate – difference between Jabba & Sam is very noticeable, over the last 3 years the number of times you will see Sam out & about, but never her. One is approachable, the other is at best ‘a bucket of cold sick’ ex-union hack.

Yeah, I too was pleased to see the back of Sepuloni.

Her performancce in the house as pointed out by Troy highlighted that Socialist sense of entitlement & utter contempt for anyone who dares to disagree with them.

Come back when you’ve done something in the world lady.

What is nasty about Steve Chadwick, Carol Beaumont and Sue Moroney?  Steve Chadwick in particular was involved in cabinet and I heard no such description of her at that time.  Carol Beaumont was neither a loss or gain for Labour at any stage, just run of the mill but not nasty.  Sue Moroney was gradually getting into her work in Education, no world beater, but not nasty.

Are any of these nastier than say shock jock John Banks?  Or even John Key with his designs on Supplementary Member that could disenfranchise so many voters?  Or Steven Joyce with his style of campaign management?

Sometimes I think you would prefer a single party dictatorship Cameron!  Support for a political party does not need to be cult-like!

I have met Paula Bennett in person and she is a nasty fat bitch

Looks like someone has been told  to stop sucking of the state tit.

Blaze, you are obviously a nasty, left wing prat who can’t give credit to those who deservwe it

“Having a sneering smack bum face all the time doesn’t endear you to voters.”

    Haha – Love it!

I had commercial dealings with “Steve” Chadwick when she was at Rotorua DHB – what a self centred arrogant bitch.
