Media out of step with the public – again

Today the media has continued to focus on an 8 minute recording where John Key and John Banks unsurprisingly slag off Don Brash. There is a shorter list of people who say nice things about Don Brash, why the fuss.

Still it has proved once again that it is the media who like the attention and who think they should control the issues of the day. The public however think otherwise.

I guess the 66.5% represent the grown up Nat voters

At least it keeps the prissy botox fillies busy.

    Good to see this poll.

    See:
    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/campaign-trail/5994134/Voters-want-policy-back-in-election-talk

Here is the Fairfax media Dom-Post et al still threatening to break John Key’s fingers.

The answer is in the editors’ hands – they can stop ranting on about the tearooms and start discussing policies (and oh they should discuss the possibilities of parties actually being able to carry out their policies).

It seems the Herald and Fairfax editors seem to consider that the top priority is to smash John Key.

Nice conspiracy channelling, except the poll above is lifted from the Stuff.co.nz which is a Fairfax website. It totally reliable too and I can vouch for that as I voted 4 times for no and 3 for yes.

I’ve noticed you have a lot of trouble making decisions Pussyweezer.

Perhaps a little therapy would help?

Have you ever thought that labours low rating in the polls could be the 100,000 who went to Australia.
    NOT A BAD THING.

You mean as implied in the PSA ads.

Relax everyone. Goff let the cat out of the bag today to Garner that his new policy will bring in $78 Billion by 2014/2015.

Vote for Phil….were gonna be rolling in it!

Although it did fluctuate between $20m, $50m and “whatever”

Actually I think Garner was the only one there that knew the correct figure of $78Million, but that doesn’t matter I like Phils figures better.

Were in the money, were in the money………………….

32% rating the teacup affair as important is quite a high level of interest.  But who ran this poll anyway – was it a reputable polling company?

DId or did not the National Campaign guys invite the media to the Cup of Tea Newmarket.  Tell me what was the purpose of the tea session – to get John Banks across the line.  To get the journalists telling the “good news’.

Oh dear – its all been bad news.  Hard luck!!!

One question I’d like to see.

Which do you prefer.  National governing alone or Winston holding the Balance of Power?
