The defining moment of an election, Ctd

Earlier today I blogged about the defining moment of the election. On reviewing the Christchurch debate video this morning, I noticed that it was actually possible to identify the precise moment Goff’s campaign disintegrated.

Whether he was set up, or whether he just forgot the numbers that David Cunliffe claimed he had, we may never know.

    I feel sorry for him – set up by cunliffe. How the hell he could not have been prepped for those type of questions is beyond me.

    I think it is disingenuous to pin this bluder on Cunliffe. Any aspiring Prime Minister should have been well versed in the budget predictions of their own policy. If the detail were a little dicey, they should have a response prepared to most questions around budget detail. This was Goff’s responsibility to know before all debates and this major faux pas shows once again that he is not fit for higher office.

      Grizz, to be fair, he is not an aspiring PM, even if Labour won, of which they will be slaughtered and Labour as we know it are fucked. They would not keep Goff as PM, they would be a coup quicker than they would lift our taxes….

      But for sure, CunTliffe will have enjoyed seeing Goff Rogered immensley

    Going through the full debate video on Stuff today and, is it just me or do you feel that as well, that The Press deliberately have Goff’s microphone played louder than Key’s?  Or is Phil just shouting through the two hours to make himself sounded louder and clearer than John???
