Busting Teachers Unions, Ctd

Via the tipline, an email from a NZEI member:

Message: Hi Cameron, I’m a primary teacher with 12 years experience in NZ, International, and private schools, on 3 continents.  I’m also an NZEI member.

Seeing the petty, vindictive link they provided re: my collective agreement I felt nothing but anger and embarrassment.

Monday morning I’ll be cancelling my membership.  Its become obvious to me that they’re more interested in politicking than doing what’s right by kids…in this case, a couple of charter school trials.

Their behaviour is disgraceful.

Thanks for keeping us posted.  And you’re welcome to quote me on that!

    Good stuff – good on him!  It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this teacher is the excellent kind of teacher who would do really well at a charter school.

    I think, deep down, Kosh knows the truth when he sees it. The level of antagonism in his postings prove that point. What’s that old Shakespeare line: I fear he doth protest too much.

    I think our old buddy, Kosh, is what we call “Hard Wired”.  No possibility for alteration of thought pattern and no adaptive logic.  I still reckon he is a Duck clone.

      If thats the case he is in good company with most of the commenters here.

      This place isnt noted for its “adaptive logic” … or “alteration of thought” .. in fact – they (many of the commenters) mostly make vladimir putin look like a schoolboy.

      Its almost like a scene they left out of the movie about “pre-crime” starring tom cruise.

      Just an opinion …

        I mean Russian President for two terms then PM then Pres then PM again soon is kinda cool, but nothing compared to what we are, here.

        Hey Big D – we got a name for your type as well “Troublesome and Complicated”.  Another category is “Agressive and Confrontational”  that one of our more difficult clients put me into.  In fact one of my work mates created that one specially for me, same guy that created my nick name.
