Form a posse

I am normally against the death penalty and summary justice, but sometimes I’ve been know to make exceptions, like for looters. I have just found another exception:

A 5-year-old girl, visiting New Zealand from Europe, is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after what appears to have been a sexually motivated attack.

The girl was sleeping in a caravan with her 3-year-old brother at Club Habitat Holiday Park in Turangi last night.

Police say her mother went to the amenity block where her husband was using his computer. When she returned to the caravan she told police she found it locked and saw a man inside with her daughter. She ran screaming for help at which point the offender left the caravan, said police.

The girl underwent four hours of surgery today and is in a serious but stable condition in hospital. Her brother was not harmed and slept through the attack.

Detective Inspector Mark Loper, who is heading the investigation, would not say where the family was from, but said they had been travelling through the country and had been here for a while.

He said it is one of the worst assaults on a child he had seen in his 28 years of policing.

“The attack was brutal, on a young defenceless child who should have been spending Christmas on a dream holiday with her family. Her parents are absolutely distraught. They have expressed to us that their privacy is very important to them and they have asked for some space.”

Police will not be drawn on the detail of the girl’s injuries. However, Mr Loper said “they are significant and heart-wrenching. The nature of her injuries lead us to believe that the attack was sexually motivated”.

We should form up a posse, find this scum, string him up in a tree and let the crows peck at his corpse.

I felt sick hearing of this attack on the news this morning. What’s the bet the perp was a teenage or even pre-teen male?

  • Richard McGrath

BTW I recommend the movie (Tombstone) from which the posse scene was taken.

No prizes for guessing the racial origin either, why does this shit continue? must be because they are an oppressed people.
It becomes very difficult to not be racist when scum like this perform.

    • Jam_Sammie

Yes spot on. Pressie thief included

    • Peter Wilson

Careful on that one. Not sure, but I think the demographics are a bit different for sexual assaults on children.

Having said that, whoever the scum is, he needs to be dealt with so at least “he” can’t offend again.

My vote is for chemical castration actually. Something medical that will take away his urges.

      • Scanner

Sorry Peter, but no one put up any sexual angle yet, as for castration hell yes, but don’t the balls do the head, I’ve got just the tool it travels at 3000 feet per sec and weighs in at 150 grains

      • Jam_Sammie

I agree to a point. Where there is deviousness and history quite likely the offender will be middle aged European but in this case an opportunistic, very violent “smash and grab” offense bares all the hallmarks of precisely the person Scanner is hinting at.

      • Paul Rain

If you believe that the massive overrepresentation of Maori victims in sex assaults is due to crafty Pakeha’s and Asians, then sure.

If you look at the data in Western countries with higher populations, it is true that spree and (even more so) serial killers are a lot likelier to be of European descent than your common or garden violent criminals. This doesn’t actually extend to individual caucasians being more likely to commit serial/spree killings than non-Asian minorities- it just means they’re about equally likely to commit such crimes.

Whale Oil, do you have a racist friend?

I’m normally for the death penalty, and this is exactly the reason why. There are people beyond rehabilitation, and ones who by their actions have put themselves beyond even an opportunity for it. Does anyone imagine this is either the first or the last attack from thsi animal?

    • Troy

Yes I agree and until the death penalty is back on the statutes, we have to pay for scum like this.  When committing these crimes, they give up the right to be associated in any way with society – so, how about a cell on the Auckland Islands – let him die in isolation, starving to death without nuts.

  • Steve

Death is to good for this asshole.Agree with SCANNER,sick to death hearing discription of offenders in this country.Dont think being fed up with something makes us racists.Good hunting in Turangi, keep your powder dry.

When this Piece of Shit is caught, and it will be, it will have a gaggle of lawyers, psychologists and other assorted deadbeats to protect its interests and dream up all types of excuses for its behaviour.

    • Gazzaw

You are right Titan. Lorraine Smith has all of the qualifications to do the job. Should be a  nice little sinecure at the taxpayer’s tit. Preliminary hearings, the main event and an appeal will do very nicely thanks.

      • Steve

she should be strung up next to him.

    • Steve

and will get the taxpayer to foot the bill

    • Scanner

It will probably also get an ACC payout for damage to it’s knuckles when it gave the child the “bash”.

      • Steve

most likely drag on the ground anyway

      • Euan Rt

        and name suppression!

  • Steve

all comments aside, hope someone sets up a charity account or something for this family. They could end up here longer then they planned.

    • Scanner

Fuck charity, how about asking the local iwi to stick their hands in their pockets. Yeah Right

      • Super Guest

Neither the time nor the place for that sort of stuff, Scanner. A kid may die and you’re more interested in doing some Maori bashing…

  • Pharmachick

    grassy knoll?

  • Jam_Sammie

Where is all the uproar from our pinko trolls..??

  • Anonymous

Yes we should. Your mates at Gun City could help.

As an aside, I read they were planning to walk the Tongariro Crossing. With a 5 and 3-year old? Really?

  • James

If that is my 5 year old daughter, I’m not waiting for societal justice,  I will risk a petty manslaughter charge and kill the fucker who did that.  My god this story makes me angry

  • Tristanb

The guy wouldn’t get the death penalty for this anyway. He’ll get charged with assault, get 5 years, but get out in 2 years. His lawyer will blame the girl and her parents. The judge will let him off on bail to celebrate New Years “on strict conditions”, then apologise to the criminal on behalf of society for letting him down.

He needs to be locked up forever. Not killed. But locked up without SkyTV, conjugal visits, a stream of visitors, personal trainers, and without the constant cost of appeals to the higher courts. The reason I couldn’t be a cop (other than being too weak with small hands) is because I couldn’t stand doing all the good work the cops do, only to have it kicked over by some socialist judge with a skewed perception of our underclass.

  • James

Sounds like the offender had scoped the caravan and was well prepared and premeditated.  The punishment should equally be as well balanced. Organs should firstly be harvested, the only useful thing this fucker will ever contribute to life, then let him root in a field while be pecked to death by seagulls, the worms can finish him off

    • Steve

rather just put the bastard in a chipper

  • Thorn

I don’t care what race this creature is from, it just needs to die.

  • Anonymous

    Death to the offender.

  • James

I don’t care what species this mutant is from, it needs to suffer and die.

  • Rightoverlabour

I got all sorts of liberal anti capital punishment crap when posting about the death penalty for rapists ( and violent re offenders) on kiwiblog a while ago. While these types of academics argue the finer points of what constitutes a civilised society, kids are suffering. The offenders know they will get away with it, there is no fear of retribution. That fear needs to be re-instilled.

    • kevin

Those type of folk will never have experienced the horror of such an attack.  They live in  a  PC bubble. Lets hope the locals don’t spoil the investigation/evidence collecting needed to secure a result.

  • Marcusjcarcus

Sooner or later the good hard working average kiwis need to take law into their own hands, either by forcing….. and I mean forcing governments to take action and really deal to… not deal with this scum or by direct action.
It seems a gang are connected in some way, patched members should be the ones in fear… they only intimidate through numbers, if every rugby club member in NZ grouped together to make a stand then these scum would pack up shop.

All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to stand by and do nothing.

…. I ived in a small town not that long ago and the local cop had to deal with 8 brawling scum on his own, as a large guy I stepped into help as I was scared he was going to get knived… other locals just stood and watched, 30minutes later help arrived.
I must say I never got another speeding ticket in that town.

  • Kosh103

As I said before – child abusers = shoot them. Problem solved. No chance of them reoffending.

    • Anonymous

holy shit Kosh , we`ll have you voting Act in no time.  : )

      • Kosh103

Ahhh no. I have a brain so that will never happen.

I am very anti anyone who harms children. I make no bones about it, and have no quams about dealing with scum like that in the harshest of ways.

    • Super Guest

Finally some good stuff from Kosh.

    • Peter Wilson

Absolutely “shooting them” will protect us from that particular vermin.

But where are the solutions to protect us from future offenders; the ones that are 10 years old now, and are busy torturing small animals, as practice.

In fact the lock em up (or better) mentality – which I share – could actually be counter productive as it means we ignore the causes etc which create offenders in the first place.

Michael Laws, for example, has a view that child molesters are mentally ill and should be treated as such.

      • Paul Rain

Well it might help if New Zealand’s budding psychopaths had some parental supervision. But that sort of thing has been out of vogue for a while now.

      • Pharmachick

        Peter,
I guess that’s part of the problem… these kids that are lighting fires, torturing animals etc should be:

        1)  identified,

        2)  removed from the the home … no matter if it’s an upper class, brown, wealthy home or a welfare-dependent, institutionalized, white Westie family… the child should be removed and made a ward of the state.

        3) Then the arsonist/animal torturer ought to e given intensive, inpatient psychiatric monitoring and therapy (insofar as “therapy” can help them)

        4) as part of (3) these offenders should be studied intensively to identify
             a) psychiatric methods of rehabilitation for these psychologically disturbed
             b) ways to prevent others developing such destructive psychiatric disorders
             c) novel diagnostics for early identification of such people
             d) approaches to prevent the environmental component that develops them

        5) All of the above should apply to adult offenders for so long as NZ does not have an active death penalty.

        Cheers

  • Monique

we seem to throw alot of money into separatist funding all for the sake of race relations and yet more money is being spent on keeping them in jail. I know we don’t know the race of this Gobshite but judging by the last few weeks in the media, we can take an educated guess. I am so sick of people being too afraid to speak out for fear of being labelled “racist”, it’s a term too easily flung about, being honest isn’t being racist, it’s being realistic. When people take responsibility for themselves and their failings instead of blaming every one else, only then will they stand a chance in hell of being useful to society. A 50 cent led injection is way cheaper than $80,000 a year in jail. Didn’t the guy who raped a woman in Turangi and got sentenced to ten years, ten years ago, just get out of jail? Anyone know his whereabouts?

    • Bafacu

Probably living next door to his victim!!!
