Labour is the nasty party, Ctd

Two days ago Sue Moroney called Tau Henare a tosser:

Yesterday a constituent remonstrated with her over that comment and points out The Moroney Effect:

@ You think Tau's a looser? Guess you haven't heard of the moroney effect. #unelectable.

So what does Sue Moroney do? Apologise? No….she continues the nasty:

@ and you have been elected to Parliament how many times. the word was "Tosser."
@suemoroney
Sue Moroney

At the same time she misses the point that she is so nasty that she has never been elected in an electorate, instead relying on the patronage of a union to get her a high list ranking. In 5 attempts she is yet to win a seat, sliding in on the list three times.

I wonder what David Shearer is going to do about list MPs with such a poor public demeanour? MPs like Sue Moroney simply reinforce the impression that the Labour party is the nasty party. She is distinctly unlikeable and her election results prove it.

If Shearer is looking for an MP to swing the axe at to teach the other slow learners like Trevor Mallard a lesson.

Almost but not quite a space in her last name there Moron_ey

  • Agent BallSack

There’s obviously not a broadcast code of ethics in the Labour party and if there is, none of them appear to have read it, or are blatantly ignoring it. All good though, this makes people detest Labour and its foul mouthed, crude and ignorant minions all the more.

Shearer needs to (metaphorically) slap these wretched harpies into line. I doubt he will, because he promoted that horrible Mad Butcher-hating Fenton.

I am not at all that David Shearer has the power to get rid of Labour’s nasty people – the party resides in the union heirarchy that supports Labour. And as the union representing Ports of Auckland workers has shown, unions are pretty ‘thick’ when it comes to achieving best outcomes.

all class. is it any wonder that weve got kids beating adults to death? they grew up under Labour.

  • Ben R001

Ah well. Seems Labour wont be back in 2014 or 2017. Greens the new Major Party?

  • Mediatart

Funny you left out the bit from ‘Road Rage Tau’ that started it.

Shearer and Robertson ay. Same old same old. They look like Phil and Annette

  • Jaffa

All the ones near the top of the List will be there as long as the Party wants them.
Like public servants they can’t be voted out.
There is no need for them to stand for an electorate.
    MMP!

    • Mediatart

MMP has led to much higher turnover of MPs than FPP ever did.
Farrar did a list which showed  27 new MPs out 121 in this election.

The other bit you’ve forgotten Whale is just how much Moroney may get pushed out after upsetting the rainbow faction.  Whose at number 2 now?  Bye bye Sue!

  • Rockfield

WO, is it the hieght of arrogance to assume the mantle of being elected to Parliament, whereas each time you have slid in via a favourable list position accompanied by an ever decreasing share of the electorate votes ???? to me that smacks of being a delusional old Pot Boiler.

And to think I went to school with the dreadful trout !!!!

no true facts or intellect. just hate bashing on labour party. crap forums.i´m ǴONE!!

  • Mwright2

John’s right. There is no real debate on this sit at all. There is no intellect or balanced judgement. Sue Moroney uses the word “tosser” and that alone justifies the entire Labour culture to be pilloried. Whale Oil’s commentators, on the other hand, seem to believe that obscenities will render their comments all the more convincing.

    • EX Navy Greg

Tend to agree Mwright2, I think Tau is a tosser too, but coming from Sue Moroney who has NEVER been elected is what is pissing people off
