Shearer: On refugees

Via the tipline:

In the comments section of this post on Shearer’s proposal to link the minimum wage to the average wage, Thor 42 noted:

“I’ll be watching bloody closely to see if Shearer pushes to increase our annual intake of refugees. If he pushes for that, that will no doubt be on the orders of his puppetmaster.”

Conveniently, Shearer has been asked this question.  As usual, his answer is less than clear. But it seems the answer is yes, he supports more refugees.  It fits alongside policies to decriminalise and regulate cannabis, change the flag, and link the minimum wage to the average wage.

I **knew** it!  As if we don’t have enough.
As if we need even more unqualified people to go on the dole.
Britain and Europe have got big problems thanks to them opening the floodgates and letting immigrants in.
In Germany, Angela Merkel is on record as saying “multiculturalism has failed”. Well gee…. it’s a bit late to say that now, lady.

    • diabolos

Thor – i entirely agree.  Multiculturalism is bullshit.

We’ve let-em in and now in Auckland particularly of every 100 jobs – up to 1000 people apply and approx 60% are recent migrants (without a job??) and approx 30% of those are on a study visa with an agenda to gain residency.  When they do – their family and hangers on join them.  The UN is the biggest masturbatory fantasy in creation – as was the league of nations before it.  And they breed like flies – in the case of overstayers its an insurance policy to get a sympathy vote.  Introduce compulsory military training and they’ll all go back to where they came from.

Tell the UN to stick their refugee quota up their fundamental orifice and rotate on it.

The last thing Labour Needs in power – is another UN type bleeding heart and receptacle for all the bullshit of noisy minorities.

As for Mohammed and his filthy little “faith” – he can go fuck himself as well and take all his pushy domineering loudmouthed adherents with him.

      • Boss Hogg

Hey Big D – you do surprise me soemtimes – excellent work.

Multiculturalism works fairly well here in Friendly Singapore, but the rules are simple and heavily enforced on all parties – anything less would be a problem.
No welfare benefits for anybody at all – that helps.  No mimimum wage – that helps.  Highest per capita savings in the OECD – thats good.  Eat that Labour.

Then you go to Frankfurt, Oslo or Stockholm and you can see the brewing problem all around.

Immmigration – yes, when well controlled, Refugees  – big problems.  But what the hell is the answer????

      • Anonymous

        Good on ya, D……
I think it is very important for everyone – on the right and on the left – to have a good understanding of Islam. It is not a religion (it simply uses that as a convenient cloak to hide behind). It is a vicious, violent and hateful **cult**.
If people in this country learn only that (and nothing else) in the next ten years, then that will still be good.
Robert Spencer is one of the *outstanding* people as far as criticism of Islam is concerned (he runs the jihadwatch site that I mentioned above).
Geert Wilders is excellent too, and yet he got hauled into court for simply telling the truth about Islam.  A woman – Elizabeth Sabbaditsch-Wolff – did the same, and she was hauled into court in Austria. Unfortunately, unlike Wilders, she was not acquitted.

      • diabolos

Im right with you on this one Thor – absolutely … Boss Hogg – i’m a mix of right and left wing views so yes i may surprise you sometimes.

        Recommend you visit http://www.voiceofislamtv.com

Or watch their propaganda on Triangle Stratos including vignettes on Kiwis who have swallowed muslim bullshit whole.

Most notable – they virulently attack Christianity – very virulently – and also they clearly state – Islam is the ONLY true faith.

      • diabolos

Thor – im right with you on this one.  Boss Hogg – im a mix of right and left wing views … suggest you visit http://www.voiceofislamtv.com  for a sample of the propaganda they spread on Triangle Stratos most days.

Its not just muslims – its migrant levels in general.

  • Gustov

The best candidate for the next Labour leader also flounders on the details and costings of their ideals. Labour is fucked.

    Thank you based God.

  • blackhawk down

take a drive thru deepest darket mt roskill to see what clarke has created in the last 10 years of labor. given the chance, do you think shearer is going to do anything different?

    • Anonymous

      Agreed.

      • diabolos

        Agreed also …

  • nigel fairweather

I looked up ‘faffing’. It redirected me to David Shearers profile.

Go to a certain part of Hamilton called i think four cross or similar (4 converging roads) – there is a mosque up the road.

I take a supplier of mine for coffee often at the local Macdonalds.  Every weekday – from 10am – 3.30pm there are working age Somalis sitting there in the Maccers whiling away the time idly.  My supplier and i (he works from home) often go down 2 or 3 times in a day – and they are still there sipping coffee and doing everything but assimilate.   They have started killing each other however – or so i note.

These people from the middle east and some from India and indeed from Mainland China are often barely civilised by our standards.  Their culture is not only foreign it is exclusive – the muslims and the middle kingdom mentality chinese mainlanders in particular.  Raymond Huo is an example.  Ill informed dickhead who condemns the ancient civilisation of tibet and condones genocide and illegal occupation of a sovereign land and makes false accusations about the Dalai Lama – which a lot of westerners who should know better – swallow.

How many of these hordes are sending their sprogs to our schools not speaking english – dont teach their kids english either – and our system is having to accommodate them.  You want to know what is burdening early education – its these jabbering freeloaders thats who.

Helen Clark and her poofy bunch have a lot to answer for.

    • diabolos

And we are talking upwards of a group of 15 – 20 somalis in one Macdonalds – i know – i’ve counted them

      Just by the way.

“Helen Clark and her poofy bunch have a lot to answer for.”
      Yes, they do.

He didn’t make a call either way, he said that he doesn’t know if New Zealand has the capability, which I think is pragmatism we haven’t seen from a labour leader. As for not knowing the facts, that’s not what his responsibility was. He was the spokesman for R&D, Science and Technology, and Tertiary Education. I seriously doubt he’d be running through the Ministry of Internal Affairs to get information that isn’t pertinent to his portfolios.

    • Anonymous

Hmm…. still nowhere near decisive enough on this issue for me.
“Doesn’t know if NZ has the capability.”
No, it doesn’t, IMO.  We already take 750 per year.  That is more than enough for a small country like us.
Even with *that* number, there are problems (e.g. Somali gangs in Auckland, so I’ve heard).

      • Gazzaw

Yes, you are right on the Somali gangs. There are Afghani problems as well.

It doesn’t quite stop at 750 refugees per year. The correct figure is 750 refugees per annum plus extended families once NZ citizenship is secured.  The issues are way above the plateau of competence for Immiggartion Dept staffers to handle. The rorts are endless.

      • diabolos

750 a year is too much – add to that the non refugee migrants from India in particular – and the student visa holders who are here doing nonsensical courses that leave them illiterate in English – but are aiming to gain residency.  What you end up with is a ticking time bomb.

New Zealanders are easygoing – but they arent dumb or that complacent to a point.

I noted at Keys dribble-fest on his Pyrrhic victory celebration – there was a ‘gaggle” of turbanned sikhs doing bollywood dancing on camera.

One wonders how many voters are registered in their houses.  It cant only by Labour Sikhs who endorse 50 people registering in one household.  Culture is culture – and does what it does.

There are some on the left who claim that the migrant issue is ignored by the right – as it constitutes a passive and compliant voting bloc that will accept much lower wage rates – and minimal employment conditions?

        Could this be true…

Certainly it seems so PC that the media wont touch it – Blogs dont go near it and Politicians wont touch it at all.

I call it the “useless Pansy Wong / Raymond Huo” syndrome (and you can add in that Muslim “plant” fucking Ashraf Choudhary to that list as well).  What do any of them offer to Kiwis – NOTHING – just a new colonised homeland for their warped social outlook and their cultural bias and prejudice.  They make the British Empire look like a schoolgirl outing.

  • Gazzaw

I was raised in the UK, Yorkshire to be precise and it’s heartbreaking to see what has happened in the northern industrial cities & towns.  The old Yorkshire culture, itself almost tribal in nature is now totally dominated by Islam, its growth aided & abetted by the PC nature of the Blair administration & Labour-dominated city councils. The consequential growth of extreme political parties such as the National Front does not bode well for future peace in Britain.

Does NZ really want to see the same in NZ. It started under Clark – do we want her acolyte to continue the process?

    • Anonymous

Exactly right, G.  That is exactly what I’m talking about.
A massive, five-mile-high “No!” to the same thing happening here.

  • Thorn

The message to all migrants is simple: fit in or fuck-off.

    • Anonymous

Agreed!  It really is that simple.

    • diabolos

      Yes yes yes.

Clarks approach was not leftist, socialist or even marxist.  It was Clarkism pure and simple and we are paying the price.  Minorities given power an influence out of all kilter with their numbers.

  • Phronesis

If you want to hear about what islam is really like talk to the (christian) Iraqi taxi drivers in wellington.

    • diabolos

And the Coptic Christians in Egypt and Iran.

Its arrogant and hate-based and what is worse – endorsed (apparently) by the creator

  • Gary

RE: Link the minimum wage to the average wage.
Yeah right. Whoever thought of this doesn’t know what “average” means. If the minimum wage and the average wage are the same, then it follows that the maximum wage and the average will also be the same. Only when minimum = maximum will minimum = average.

  • monique

I was a credit controller for a DHB for many years and when I found that an overstayer since 2001 had received tens of thousands of dollars of medical treatment, I contacted immigration as previous notes had said they had already been told a couple of years prior about this person. When I got a hold of someone eventually, they said they were aware of the situation, I asked what was going to be done as this person was still clocking up healthcare money (I couldn’t be specific for confidentiality reasons),  they didn’t seem at all fazed. If people realised just how much money is owing out there that can’t be recovered, and how laxed immigration seems to be, it would cause an absolute uproar. I’m all for people wanting to start fresh and make an honest living, but I don’t support people entering the country just to access healthcare from NZ residents who have been on waiting lists for months or living off our welfare system. I have had many a conversation with government agancies re this, if you want to give away healthcare, at least get a recipricol agreement with their government or we could make it compulsory for people to have health insurance before entering the country, or build it into the cost of every airline ticket – ie: $25 each ticket, it would soon add up. Insurance is expected everywhere else we travel, last time I checked, we didn’t have a huge surplus of health money to throw away.
