Pullar Files: Standing Over Vodafone

We learned this week that Bronwyn Pullar and Michelle Boag are accomplished at stand-over tactics.

They were successful with Sovereign Insurance and that was detailed first on this blog and then later by Close Up. They got busted when they tried their stand-over and blackmail on ACC, but unfortunately they cost Nick Smith his job.

But they have also played the double team over smaller issues and in other areas.

Michelle,

I’m still getting the run around from Vodafone and had nothing but appalling service for the past three weeks.  It’s beyond a joke.

It basically started with wanting to close down my second phone line which has my fax and ADSL line on it, and switching the ADSL to my main phone line.¬† Whilst the switch was done was the connection hasn‚Äôt worked, and is worse that dial up.¬† I can‚Äôt use the phone line and the ADSL at the same time due to ‚Äúnoise‚ÄĚ.¬† (This is despite advising them prior to the switch that I had alarm monitoring on the same line and they reassured me there was no issue with that.)

Anyway all I need is a technician to rewire a plug and despite requesting it a week ago I have yet to get one, at my cost!¬† The latest is they‚Äôve put it on hold until 2nd¬†July which is Thursday this week!¬† Talk about frustrating!¬† I must have called them over 50 times in the past three weeks.¬† USELESS.¬† Now they‚Äôve put in another request to the provisioning team to prioritise it.¬† That has been done over three times now ‚Äď so that process is completely ineffective.¬† So despite getting off the phone with them I still have no idea when my broadband will be sorted.

Anyway I’m going to get a printout of all contact points with Vodafone over this matter since 1 November 2008 emailed to me.  Hopefully Whale Oil will blog it for me.

Useless bastards.

I’ve had a gutsful.

Thanks
Bronwyn

I didn’t run a story about Bronwyn Pullar’s customer service issues. But knowing that Pullar had sent all this to her stand-over expert Michelle and how she operates I gave the Vodafone PR guy a little heads up about it. He told me that she had been driving them all nuts and now he knew what she meant when she said it was going to get nasty for them.

When I advised Bronwyn that I had told the Vodafone PR bloke about it she replied:

I hold [sic] you told them I was a mental bitch, with a head injury who doesn’t cope with any form of stress, and has a tendency to get very violent when angry.  Just a shame I haven’t got a gun or I’d be down at Fanshaw [sic] street demanding service!

It seems that whenever Bronwyn has an episode she riuns off to Michelle Boag and then they do their little double team stand-over routine.

They have been running their scam for years. I wonder who else they have bullied?

You made the right move in not publishing the Vodaphone issue. People with head injuries sometimes need to be protected from themselves. It’s a great pity this latest brouhaha wasn’t treated the same way.

That’s not to excuse the abysmal lack of ethics of those who try to gain advantage for themselves by leaking/publicising other people’s details,¬†specifically those in the “accidentally” dispatched list and those on the latest “supporters” list.

An aside: Pullar’s email is perhaps one of the best examples I’ve seen of why gun owners need to be registered.

Fuck you are boring blubber boy. Now it is news that Puller was shitty at her telco? Where have I heard that before.

Vodafone have given me just wonderful customer service over the years (ihug at beginning before Vodafone bought them out). Reason why I won’t change to any other provider. Have my SKY TV with Vodafone too.

To be honest Pullar appears to be in need of assistance from several gentlemen in white coats. She comes across as being somewhat paranoid and refusing to ever take no for an answer.

She has a head/brain injury to somewhat excuse her delusional behaviour РBoag does not. She is the nasty in this whole mess. Her actions in actively supporting Pullar through this mess has just fueled Pullars fantasy of some grand ACC conspiracy against her.

You have to wonder if Boag has used Pullar as a means of exacting revenge on old National Party enemies Рeven if it meant killing off her old mate Nick Smith in the mean time.

Together they prove the old adage: Hell hath no fury like a woman (women) scorned.

  • Mully

    Jesus , what a nutjob.

“I get poor service from someone, so I’m telling”

  • joe bloggs

methinks Pullar’s playing up the effects of her “head injury” for all it’s worth, describing herself:

    - “mental bitch”
    - “tendency to get very violent when angry”
    - “just a shame I haven’t got a gun”
    - “shit is going to hit the fan”
    - “not quite right in the head”
    - etc., etc., ad nauseam

She seems really well rehearsed at framing herself as a mental bitch.¬†It’s a low cunning card to play – beware the crazy bitch – settle quickly, don’t aggravate her any more than is necessary,¬†

But one the other hand we have¬†“very experienced in insurance matters (getting claims)…”, capable of embedding tracking software into emails, not handing back confidential ACC files the moment she received them, pulling the media in…

Far too well rehearsed and far too manipulative to be a genuine cot-case.

  • kevin

She seems a toxic individual… and her pal is not much better.

    • joe bloggs

yup – a pair of wannabe Borgias trying to spike a few night-time cocoas with cantarella

      Their time will come…

  • Jaffa

She seems very on top of things for someone with a brain injury.

Not many of us would have the ability, or brains, to track emails, and do all the things she has done.

Methinks she does protest too much!

    • drpanopticon

Yup, a million-plus bucks for her “trauma” and then tries it on with ACC for another $14 mill…¬† it’s like Catch-22 in reverse!!¬† For that money I’ll go bang my own head a few times I think.

Whale Oil – Not sure whether you had a chance to watch CLOSE UP yesterday. Though I am not a great fan of John Key, I thought he did extremely well responding to the drama put up by Mark Sainsbury on Thursday. JK gave a very professional, calm and extremely fluent response to the questions asked by Mike. Basically every TV station and newspaper in this country is looking to generate scandals to get some publicity as they cannot find anything else with this Government and its policies. I am sure Kiwis will see through these dirty tricks. I am wondering why no opinion polls have come from One News and Three News for the month of March?!?!?

    • joe bloggs

CS – yes he gave a well-considered reply, calm, responsive, fluent and completely on-message – don’t hold your breath waiting for an apology from Sainsbury though…

… Thursday’s Close-up was a tawdry piece of poorly researched, poorly crafted churnalism – presented by a 2nd rate hack who breathlessly wants to make the news rather than report the news.

IMHO the MSM has completely failed to get over the teapot tapes and is out to smear whatever muck they can over John Key

      • Gazzaw

Totally agree with you Joe & CS. I thought that he was even better with Hosking last night, even getting in a couple of swift jabs on TV One News & Closeup. None of the MSM (Pravda included) has been game enough to conduct a poll of late.

  • toby_toby

Sheesh, Pullar seems to go running to Boag with all her problems in life. Gods knows why. What does Boag even get out of it?

    • Cynic

Boag got her reputation ruined that’s what she got out of it. A lifetime of network, destroyed by one and bitch putting on the “poor me” act.

  • Peter Wilson

Hopefully Whale Oil will blog it for me.

What’s going on here?¬†It looks to me as if Pullar is in the WO team. Is this some kind of long game by National Party factions to get the Boag camp back in the ascendancy?

  • Steve (North Shore)

Poor me poor me, I have a head injury is becoming a bit thick. Rendered down this spoilt brat needs her arse smacked, but she will run to anyone for help and then drop them like a hot potatoe

  • @BoJangles

Does Boag get on top, or the other way round?
