This is going to cost someone their job and their incurance company a lot of money:

A truck ploughed into a Porsche dealership in Epsom today, injuring two people and damaging several luxury cars.

Police spokesman Lou Alofa said the truck was heading down Great South Rd toward Manukau when the crash happened at 11.25am.

Witnesses say a people-mover tried to do a U-turn on Great South Rd but it hit the truck, which lost control.

The people-mover “whistled” through the air and was airborne for around 10m.

Eleven cars and two trucks were damaged in the crash, and the crushed people mover was sitting on the opposite side of the road.

Alofa said some of the cars were pushed into buildings.

“We understand a number of the vehicles had occupants in them and they have sustained various injuries,” he said.

Three people were taken to Auckland City Hospital, one with serious injuries and another with moderate injuries.

      No glass panes damaged, no airbags deployed (unattended parked cars don’t deploy airbags) no ongoing carnage or disruption (all cleaned up with Teutonic efficiency) and plenty of HNW customers on the phone, email and visiting over the next 24hrs so little for competitors to gloat over.
      But carry on, you’re quite entertaining in a court jester like manner…

      Probably the same bitch that pulled out of a driveway without looking and forced me to swerve onto the wrong side of the road last Thursday. Never give drivers licenses to anyone that can be blindfolded with a shoelace.

      But yes I know those aren’t the ones you’re talking about.

        Could well have been a yummy mummy on her way to St Cuths Travis. They don’t all drive hubbie’s giant SUV which was probably just as well if that was the case. An airborne Range Rover would have caused terminal mayhem on Continental’s forecourt.

    Mr Porsche will be truly annoyed. Because every day without a demo car is a day that a high rolling bankster buys an AMG instead of this.
    This is the best illustration as to why you always have at least 3rd party insurance. The cheapest thing to replace will be the people carrier. It will be millions of dollars in direct damages, and the offset in salesmen not making commission this month will be cold comfort.
