How stupid is Martyn Bradbury?

Martyn Bradbury has written a post today attack the Herald on Sunday and John Hartevelt for going after National Standards.

Except John Hartevelt works for Fairfax and the Herald On Sunday sanctimoniously refused to publish the data.

Martyn Bradbury asks how stupid HoS and John Hartevelt feel now, the real question should be how stupid does Martyn Bradbury feel right now?

      Leighton Smith talked to Penny this morning, I nearly ran off the road I was laughing so hard. He said to her: “I always thought of you as a pain in the backside and not particularly smart, but I’m starting to rethink that” to which she replied something along the lines of “well Leighton, it takes a big man to admit he’s wrong” to which Leighton responded: ” I don’t say I was wrong, I just said I was starting to rethink my opinion”. It was comedy gold.

        Leighton was genuine in his comment about rethinking his previous views on Penny

          I didn’t say he wasn’t genuine. The way he responded to her when she said it takes a big man to admit he’s wrong was the point of humour I was trying to emphasize. Even if he was serious.

    The mistake these people and labour make is simple. National standards are measure of performance, not an action plan. Left to these people …..they would put a tape measure (with meters as the international standard) on the ground and say it does not work and throw it away because it didn’t cut the timber and build the house for you.
