Big Gerry puts down the pies and give the unions a kicking

In Parliament, Gerry Brownlee pointed out how Labour automatically sided with the Australian trade union which was putting the filming of the Hobbit in New Zealand at risk.

He also notes, that at its conference, Labour handed significant new control of its internal affairs to union scum.

I hope National keep pointing out Labour’s dirty deal with its union funders at every opportunity between now and 2014.

Tory Bros – The Rogue Morgan poll is out and it is not good news for Emperor and his cronies. Based on this poll, Sheep will be ruling NZ in 2014 with his mate Norman, Winnie and Hone.

“Today’s New Zealand Roy Morgan Poll shows Prime Minister John Key’s National (45%, down 0.5%) with a strong lead over the main Opposition Labor Party (31.5%, down 1%). Support for third party the Greens has increased to 13.5% (up 3%).

“However, the governing block of National/ Maori Party/ ACT NZ & United Future (47%, down 1.5%) are now clearly behind the elected opposition of Labour/ Greens/ NZ First/ Mana Party (51.5%, up 2.5%) which would be favoured to win a close election if held now.

“Ongoing leadership tensions — particularly in the main Opposition Labour Party between Labour Leader David Shearer and leadership contender David Cunliffe — appear to explain why Labour has been unable to present the united front it needs to increase its vote and close the gap with Key’s governing National.”

“Yesterday’s world” is a great line. National should keep using it against Labour.
