Country folk not so keen on Green Taliban

The Bin Man has been out and about…he is literally everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

He sends in this from an A&P Show in rural New Zealand showing just how popular the Green Taliban are in rural NZ.

Unbelievable but true, people get hoodwinked by these political movements for that is what the Greenies are, why don’t people do some research into these organisations & see what they stand for, what their intentions are. A couple of hours researching the characters that inhabit the green movement will show their true colours. Most are rabid communists rebadged in cloaks of green but their real intentions are still obvious, they are hell bent on their eutopia of a communist world. But the wets still vote for them & donate to them. Kind of like the fools that vote for Winston because his grandstanding looks good on the telly.

“why don’t people do some research into these organisations & see what they stand for, what their intentions are”

That’s ok to a point, but it’s the underlying and unwritten intentions that some people will just never be smart enough, or too ignorant to pick up on.

      • Patrick

I agree to a point, a quick google of the major players in these organisations takes you to their wiki in most cases, & there laid out before you is their past. For instance Wussell Norman was a member of the Socialist Workers Party a marxist organisation in Australia when you see a sentence like this the hairs should be standing up on the back of your neck “The DSP was the first Marxist party in the world to orientate actively to the green movement”

Doesn’t take much to research these fraudsters with the wonders of the www.

        • Travis Poulson

Already knew about Russel, I think it’s pretty common knowledge he was/is a communist.

          • Alice Wheeler

            link/source?

          • Travis Poulson

            Google/lazybones

          • Alice Wheeler

…oh come on… you should be able to back up your assertion as quick as.

          • Petal

“Alice Wheeler” is a one-liner troll. Best to ignore. If I had a ban hammer I’d be putting an IP number in the block list. As it is, we’ll have to suffer a little longer. Just don’t feed.

          • Travis Poulson

You probably didn’t see my other post to the troll on another thread, but pretty much outlines what you just said,so your second sentence suggestion has already been put into practice, cheers :)

            That is a good one.

“As Marxists, we understand that power not only lies with the ruling regimes, but in the hands of the organised majority. It is our role to mobilise this force, which is most definitely part of “the world as it is.” This is the only strategy that can succeed in the long term. There are no short cuts.
Bolas’ repetition of the mainstream media caricatures of environmentalists, pacifists and christians, does not in any way advance the debate. And it only serves to divide the movement. As Marxists we recognise that in order to understand and change the world it will be necessary to enter into a genuine dialogue with all those seeking fundamental social change.
We hope this goes some way in addressing the substantive political issues of the debate.
Adam Hanieh, Catherine Gough-Brady, Anne Pavy, Andrew Watson, Rebecca Meckleburg, Russel Norman, Teresa Dowding
            Adelaide”

          • Patrick

I used him as an example only, the rest are of similar ilk.

BTW I reckon Wussell was bullied at school, probably had his head flushed down the toilet, I can tell just looking at & listening to the softcock

    • Alice Wheeler

“Most are rabid communists” – hilarious!

      • Patrick

If only it was funny, they are very very dangerous – wolves in sheeps clothing.

  • Petal

    and Greenpeace.

    and Forest and Bird.

    • Travis Poulson

F&B wouldn’t be so bad if they kept their noses out of politics and did what they are supposed to do, because when they are actually doing their job they do it quite well. Unfortunately an activist (who is actually quite good at her job as a conservationist) has made her way to the top and is doing more harm to their image than good.

      • Dave

Travis & Petal. F&B dont do such a bad job, they are dedicated individuals mostly, but agree, they should leave the politics to their minister and just get on with their roles.

        • Travis Poulson

Given you practically reworded what I said, I’d have to agree with you ;)

  • Alice Wheeler

Green Taliban??? LOL oh dear, Cameron, you are having a bad day!

    • manuka416

It fits – nonsensical and fanatical fundamentalists who put their pseudo-religious dogma ahead of the liberties and rights of others.

      • Alice Wheeler

        Give me an example?

      • Alice Wheeler

One step at a time then. What particular policies of the Green Party do you most disagree with?

        • Vlad

OK Alice, off the top of my head:
          * Printing money and ruining the economy
          * Giving billions to crooks in 3rd world countries in ETS scams
          * Banning mining and destroying prospective jobs and wealth
          * Hammering the dairy industry and destroying our #1 export
          * Destroying our landscape with hideous inefficient windmills
          * Banning rare T-bone steaks and making me eat mungbean sprouts

          • Travis Poulson

            /ignore troll

        • manuka416

Sorry, just got back to a computer – enjoying life with the family on a beautiful Saturday. My reply was not for you, Alice, it was for the benefit of my ‘the-Greens-are-nuts’ fellows. Aw, you don’t get to school me :(

        • Dave

Alice. Like Vlad has stated, but an easier way to look at it. The whole ideology of the Green PArty. BEst they go save a few trees not try and run an entire f’n country around their green as expensive unsustainable policies.

        • Mediaan

Hanging harnessed out of helicopters, chain-sawing down individual wilding pines, one by one, in the back country?

(Justified by Eugenie Sage, then at Environment Canterbury. Reason given? Because these were not indigenous trees.)

She is now Green spokesperson on local government.

          • Dave

Think of the GreenHouse gas they produced from the helicopters……. and they call themselves Green.

  • Apolonia

The Gweens weren’t at the Hawkes Bay A&P show in Hastings last month . The only parties there were National, Labour and the Conservatives.

  • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

May be if the Ozie Commie Norman turns up, crowd will flock to listen to his message??

    • Apolonia

Give me my flag back…..whine,,,whine…that’s my flag……

      • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

ROFLOL!! May be if the TV stations play that clip during election time, the Greens could drop below 5% and NZ could be saved from bankruptcy….

    • Dave

SCS If the Ozie Commie norman is so good, why isn’t he in politics there??

Like an old saying in Tasmania, if they aren’t good enough for their own clan, they aren’t good enough for us.

  • cows4me

Quite frankly i don’t know why these communist idiots bother. Every field day or A&P show I’ve been to they are about as popular as an infestation of crabs.

    • Travis Poulson

Sadly, the crabs are probably easier to get rid of, and probably more welcome.

  • conwaycaptain

I was accosted some months ago outside my local supermarket in a small S Waikato town by two Gweenpeace activists. One Yank and the other Fijian Indian. Asking me to sign a petition to stop exploration off E Cape.
Well I asked them how many major oil spills there have been in the last 20 years apart from the Gulf of Mexico. They didnt know. How many in NZ off Taranaki, they didnt know. Told them to bugger off back to teir own country.

    • Travis Poulson

No surprises there, CC. But that’s the sad reality of activism, blinkered points of view, and the inability to look outside the square and see the bigger picture.

    • Sooty

Should have asked about their visa as well.

  • Lofty

Bobby Guyton has renamed himself Alice…how nice
