There’s really only one sensible (least risky) option – Cunliffe as leader and retain Robertson as deputy for continuity and bridging the faction divide. And then they have to bloody well make it work, for the good of the party, parliament and the country.

This is how it should be: Shearer to stand down, Cunliffe as to lead Labour
