Another puff piece on Sweetie

Oh look, another women’s magazine puff piece about the sweetie from central Auckland (December 2012 Next Magazine).  This time however she has managed to do a whole page without mentioning her commie caravan once.  I see her favourite travel destination is visiting Helen….

          In Labour, such term seems to be a most dubious qualification. The only person I ever heard so described who “made it” was David Lange. All the others, once tagged, seem to have taken the description to heart and thereafter performed as if they were indeed anointed – to their consequent detriment. Ardern has done nothing, achieved nothing, and, in all probability, nothing spectacular is destined to happen to her.

    Ardern must surely win the “shit-in-her-own-nest” for her complete and utter tactical blunder trying to expose in the House today how the transition to work allowance is paying for travel to take up work in Australia. All Bennett’s going to say is that it’s “not being used for holidays, Sweetie, it’s when people have real jobs to go to, which is what the grant is supposed be used for. you silly child”. Ardren is as thick as they come, probably the thickest MP in Parliament, certainly the most stupid in Labour.

      No I disagree. The comments are the same kind as if she were a male left-winger.

      The boys have picked at her appearance just the same as they would Mallard, Shearer or Silent T. None of the comments have been disparaging because she is female. They are all because she a dumb, blind commie.

      And comments on her teeth are fair enough – they are huge and she draws attention to them by persisting with her sanctimonious attitude (ever seen her on Breakfast) and cheshire cat grin.

      When you put yourself on a pedal stool it is a natural consequence that others will point out your failings.

            I’ve never heard Ardern utter anything that could be said resembles an attack on someone’s appearance. You’re confusing different types of measures of maturity. My defence of Ardern here, though, doesn’t mean I’ve changed my mind about her being the thickest MP in Parliament.

            Be that as it may and I do not condone comments about the physical appearance of a person, but Comrade Ardern is a dangerous fool – she is a list MP, not an electorate MP for Central Auckland. If she can’t understand that simple fact then heaven help us.

          Well Meg as a rule I have little reason to agree with you but in this case I’ll conditionally accept the point.
          There are two conditions to my acceptance of your point, the first is : Accept that some of the boys club bullshit is in response to all the man bashing we endured under the left wing lesbian feminazis you support. ( I know you won’t)
          The 2nd is that you accept the reality is that Rodney’s opening comments are bang on. Leaving aside her looks Ardern is a no talent professional politician that has never done a real thing in her life. Why should anyone that has lived life, worked hard and brought up a family be forced to accept a thing this overblown high school prefect has to say?

            Well for Parata I think it would be fair to say WO has put her to the test a few times of late and general feedback would be she has been found wanting…however I’d also look to her officials but again that’s a management issue and she is the supreme manager of her Dept. As to Mahuta a politician that knows when to keep its head down is not really a sign of limited intelligence is it? As opposed to those that pop their vacuous little minds up for public scrutiny at every sound bite opportunity and are open to exposure as the knuckleheaded dimwits so many of them actually are?
            None of that changes the fact that Ardern has no life experience in the real world and that is the true reason she is so belittled on this site. It would appear that a vast majority of the NZ public do NOT want to be governed by school teachers and academics that will spend all their(the governed) monies on re election bribes again!

            Good point Meg. Though Ardern is only marginally behind these two, if she is behind. I think some of the discussion around her intellectual capability is because she has been held up as a “golden light” so to speak, in the Labour party. Indeed, she is even being touted as a future leader. Given her current lack of performance, and no light at the end of the tunnel, this seems a little far fetched don’t you think?
