Bear Grylls is a legend

I read his auto-biography a while ago.  This guy is the real deal.  And he seems pretty nice to boot.

Air NZ have done a great job with this.

    and, it featured on prime time TV news here in Aussie last night, the comment from the announcer afterwards. Amazing what a little creativity can do for a boring safety video. Fantastic exposure for AirNZ

    Only problem is – the guy’s a fake. He was never in 22 SAS (but was in the TA – 21 SAS) and if his “stunts” are so incredible, what about his cameraman? Bullshitter.

      Whats fake about being in 21 SAS? are they not real? Yea you’re right he’s a fake. The media just made up that he was the youngest to climb Everest for a while. What about his cameraman? what about him? what’s your point? Cameraman goes with him. Where he can’t go,Bear takes his own camera. Go watch the behind the scenes episode that explains everything you’re asking instead of making dumb statements.

        I loved the episode where bear hired a guy in a grizzly suit to spice things up outside his tent at night. Bear sure taught that ‘grizzly’ a lesson :)

    The concept was great but I was rather disappointed with the ‘air stewardess’ – she did not speak clearly at all and made it rather amateurish for me

      I saw it for the first time last night and that stuck out at me as well. I’m not sure how non-kiwis could easily understand her.
