via the tipline – An army member snapped Lianne Dalziel:

Hey Cam,

Snapped this today at work. A car park full of signs saying reverse park only.

She’s not even in a designated carpark.

Couldn’t stop laughing all afternoon.

Rules for some and rules for others, why is it always the Labour MPs that get snapped parking in the wrong places…and before some wag says what about Bill English? …hardly a tory is he?

          The reason for parking like that numbnuts is so when 300 people roll off the train after work they can pull out of the carpark without causing multiple hazards. Think before you open your mouth. Instead youre just a Labour apologist. Why should Clarkenfeuhrer or any of the elite obey rules?

      It’s an Army carpark, people in The Armed Forces know how to follow orders or they soon find the exit.

    A number of employers demand that their employees reverse park – it is for safety reasons apparently. More than likely that is why Dalziel refused to do it – just to show the big bad employer!
    In fact one of the big mining companies in WA reward their staff with gift vouchers if they dob in their fellow colleagues for such crimes as not crossing the road at the lights.

      If you reverse into a carpark there is a zero chance you are backing into the flow of carpark traffic..there is a much lower chance that someone is walking in the space between cars too…however if you nose into a carpark you have a lot less chance of seeing whats behind you as you leave. Given most people can’t back with mirrors and have necks welded in place it’s probably a good policy.

      As for your mining company…well that’s the same outfit the head office has a policy of rewarding people that dob each other in for not holding a handrail as they go down stairs..and they’re bleeding money like a fucking sieve as their staff spent more time knifing each other in the back to up their KPI’s than doing any productive work..but hey..if that kinda behaviour floats your boat feel free to introduce it into your own business.

        We are about to do some work for a mining co – the beer fridge has to go from our office – wtf??

          Pathetic isn’t it? An industry that is for risk takers and people that like action is now run by softcocks with agendas and KPI’s to fill. Bad luck on the beer fridge though…find a spot in the basemant.

    If this is an army event or carpark it is no wonder that the cars are regimented. Good idea though when everyone wants to leave at once at least they can see what’s in front of (not behind) them. Lianne was obviously not on time for some event and not at all observant – not a good look for a politician. Please oh please can the Pope grant me one wish – don’t let Labour ever get back in government.
