While John Key has been charming world leaders, and Steven Joyce has been charming the Novopay Genie back into the bottle, Labour have been spending their time out in the community on a major charm offensive.

In contrast, here is Steven Joyce vising AD Instruments in  Dunedin yesterday.  The government are being accused of not being proactive with economic matters, yet they are out there  working hard while Labour just lob grenades via a willing media while visiting markets and festivals.

    Face facts, there is a hard core group of voters who will only ever vote for their one party of choice… then there are the swing voters, who are usually educated and can see through the mindless political BS. Those swing voters decide elections, and that is why Labour will not be becoming the Government anytime soon.

    Assume little pony will turn up in New York before long.
    She has been a disappointment actually – Helen thought she had promise, but not on her own without “Mummy” to cry too, when everybody, including her own MPs, say nasty things about her ability – and they do more than ever expecting great things but no way.
    She should get a real job outside UN, public service and politics, then once she has had say 10 years in the real world she may be worthy of politics again. However I do not see anybody taking her on – she has no educational skills or qualifications, other than Head Girl at some small Waikato township.

          According to word on the street, in 2014, she will inflict a heavy defeat on Nikki in Auckland central. All the Green voters will be tactically giving their electorate vote to Cindy….

      I think your point should apply to all pollies. Min 10 years in a real job in the real world before being allowed to enter politics. After all it is the norm in senior private sector roles to expect similar lengths of experience.
      This qualification alone would rid us of half our pollies
