John Key beaten by Foss, Parata and Guy

I don’t know what they’re on at the NZ Herald, but above is their take on National ministers’ performance. ¬†It is very hard not to conclude that John Key’s “Herald Rating” doesn’t have equal measures of spite, revenge and hopeful thinking.

Had they added Krim Dotcon, no doubt he would have rated at 9.5

But is anyone really surprised? ¬†The Herald’s anti-Key sentiment is there for all to see.

Expect a lot more character assassination from the Herald. To bring down National they first have to discredit the PM.

  • dumbshit

when in a hole you should stop digging –shit they’re thick

  • Cadwallader

Why not rate the Opposition? Can the Herald staff not manage minute fractions?

    • Hazards001

Perhaps we should have a media scorecard as well? Naw…wouldn’t work. Be as valid as teachers being rated and paid on performance.

  • LesleyNZ

The NZ Herald are out of touch. Take no notice. I know a very, very loyal now very, very ex Labourite (who has now left them) who thought PM John Key was very, very good on Leighton’s Friday show.

    • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

Baseless…where is the proof? A National voter told me that he will never vote John Key again…

      • Patrick

        One Rufus Painter I expect?

      • Bryan

probally because he moved out of his electorate

  • sheppy

Yet more biased irrelevant rubbish from the biased irrelevant desperate newspaper….

  • Adolf Fiinkensein

Now you know why their Nielsen readership ratings are in free fall.

    • Whafe

So true, and yet, again, it does not enter their minds, perhaps we have a flawed business model, reporters etc etc…..

  • Whafe

Looky at that, the NZ Horrid has another brain fart.

It must be hard for the editor and management of the NZ Horrid to come up with this piece…… If only they lept out of the closet and accepted they were oh so so biased…

This coming from the same paper who have had some tele marketer ring me FOUR TIMES in the last five months to offer me a free subscription for a month!

At least they don’t sound surprised when I tell them if I had a puppy I wouldn’t even let it lower itself to do its business on it – or should I say ‘Stoop to Poop!’

  • johnbronkhorst

    I made a list too:
    Labour’s shadow caucus, performance:

    Robertson: deputy LEADER?……………………………………….1
    Parker: Economic development…………………………………….2

    Twyford: housing…………………………………………………………-0.5

Agree totally… And people like Chris Trotter would agree. He spoke at a recent meeting, I asked the question “how could Liabour govern if in fact they could not even lead a coup within the party” ?

Chris Trotter answered very well – Liabour has the weakest front bench / MP’s they have had for decades…..

      Sums it up really

      • johnbronkhorst

Though I agree with Chris on this.
I’m not sure that Chris understands what true weakness and true strength really are.

      • DLNZ

Not to mention a Labour/Green coalition will mean Russel and Metiria will want a nice juicy portfolio to get their financially illiterate hands all over.

    • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

What about FatCon who is also a Labour minister?

  • steve and monique

Well not really surprised that these Herald wankers would come up with this rubbish. There is a book out about Gillard( Julia), and how Rudd, and the media worked on getting rid of her. We need to start a “boycott the Herald” Campaign. These hacks need to be got rid of.

    • LabTested

Where’s that Pay Wall they keep promising?

  • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

    I believe Sheep’s score is a perfect 10……

    • steve and monique

      For incompetence?

      • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

For his excellent performance and making John Key looking like an amateur during GCSB debate….

        • steve and monique

Problem is most of the time he is a dithering idiot.

          • johnbronkhorst

            MOST???

          • steve and monique

            OK, was being nice.

          • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

I am patiently waiting for the Leader’s debate….

          • steve and monique

As a Labour man, and a Shearer fan,you must be a little worried he will be removed as leader by his own team.

        • Muffin

I am really looking forward to the leaders debates in the up coming election.

  • Mr_V4

Fair enough that Key is down a few points, the usual cheersquad overlooks the fact that JK has tried to push the GCSB thing through at a time when NSA revelations/spying are hitting global headlines and are still being dripped out by the Guardian.

I don’t see how that is politically smart, – the possibility exists of more inconvenient revelations leading to a please explain.

If this was Labour you lot would be going on about own goals etc etc …

If National is to remain a strong party and actually live up to its values, surely it must face some internal scrutiny. If you want to be party syncophants go join Labour/Greens.
