Most Common Surnames in Europe by Country
The way things are going in Europe, in a couple of generations a few of those will be showing Mohammed
Will not be far away either
Surnames Jman! What this hides is that Islamics have a wide variety of surnames. Mohammed and derivations became Britain’s most common boy’s first name in 2010.
The latest data I can find: the UK order is, Smith, Jones, Patel, Brown and Singh. In London Boroughs, Patel and Shah are equal with Smith. Leicestershire is the first county to have a “bongo bongo” surname (Patel) as it’s most delightfully popular (at least with loyal members of the “European” Union).
