The “kamikaze wing” has returned

Ruth Laugeson has an article in the latest Listener that quote Mike Williams when discussing the membership of the Labour party.

kamikaze-wing

Mike Williams was good at a number of things. One was fundraising, something Moira Coatesworth and Tim Barnett refuse to do…but what he was best at was dropping the ban hammer on the loons.

That seems to have deserted labour and they are flocking back in to a depleted party, swelling and over-powering the ranks.

members

National’s membership has never been that low and they don’t have union affiliates to pad out the numbers. No wonder funds are scarce in Labour with membership as low as that. Even at the top end of 10,000 member Labour is falling behind National in party membership by a factor of 6 or 7.

And may they emulate the pilots that they are named after.

Do not under estimate the one big fat weapon Labour has – FatCon and his millions. No need for any sausage sizzles and Cindy singing DVDs…..

    • Harry B’Stard

Herr Fatcons millions are frozen by the courts, easier access to Davids stash in NY

The most obvious sign of an imploding organisation or government is when hard core defenders start abandoning ship.
Firstly by what they say about it – the critical analysis. The slagging. The negativity.
Secondly by actually physically distancing themselves by association. They stop attending meetings, functions.

When Mike Williams is calling Labour a shambles it’s a good sign it is rooted. There is nobody more staunch and hardcore than Mike.

Mike supported Labour when it stood for the people. Nowadays Labour stands for themselves, he is right in his assertions.

Mike is a piece of work and I wouldn’t agree within on anything out of principle. But one has to respect the man at least and so when Mike turns feral against the organisation he has invested a good portion of his life into my eyebrows are raised and I think Labour is poked.

Sounds like the far left loons will take the whole shit cart down, my what a tragedy that will be. The left need to disintegrate, they offer nothing to NZ except more misery. The next election is looking like a dogs breakfast of epic proportions. The left factions suffer what characterises the left, self interest. They can not worked together because they have over inflated egos and will never cede that their particular bent on life might be wrong.

They have a crack suicide squad, that’s for sure. I’m Brian, and so’s my wife.

The Labour party, of course, should not be permitted to exist in NZ.
