Trump criticised for immigration stance, but what about Harry, Hillary and Bill?

The Democrats are in line for the world’s biggest hypocrites award.

Between them and the Media party they have been criticising Donald Trump for his stance on immigration.

Yet there hasn’t been a peep, not a murmur, not a mutter, nor a mention of past Democrats and their stance on immigration…like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Harry Reid:

Bill Clinton was a tough talker on illegal immigration during his 1996 State of the Union speech. In fact, some are saying that the favored president of the Left sounds a lot like Donald Trump does today.

A new video by NumbersUSA compares Clinton’s statements from that time with Trump’s recent comments on illegal immigration. Here’s what he said in his SOTU speech:

“After years of neglect, this administration has taken a strong stand to stiffen the protection of our borders. We are increasing border controls by 50 percent. We are increasing inspections to prevent the hiring of illegal immigrants. And tonight, I announce I will sign an executive order to deny federal contracts to businesses that hire illegal immigrants.”

Trump has said, “We have to stop the in-flow of illegals coming into our country.” And what he is proposing is heftier border security, much like Clinton did back then. Yet, it’s Trump’s words that have caused an annoying shock wave through the Democratic Party for his stance on immigration. Trump’s words are often mischaracterized as hate speech and bigotry. But the presumptive Republican nominee has stated that immigrants should come to the United States, just lawfully.

It’s exactly what Clinton said in ’96:

“Let me be very clear about this: We are still a nation of immigrants; we should be proud of it. We should honor every legal immigrant here, working hard to become a new citizen. But we are also a nation of laws.”

More short-term memory from the Left.

Or Hillary Clinton:

Or Harry Reid:

Will anyone in the Media party start telling the truth instead of spinning for the Clinton campaign?

The left clearly fear him. They are throwing everything at him and taking his words so far out of context that it is outright lying.

I have learned that if someone is trying to shut someone else up then it is because they are worried about the truth coming out.

These archived recordings prove how badly the quality of journalism has got today. If WO can find and put these clips up easily enough (and I know it wasn’t difficult for WO to do) so can any mainstream media organisation. But they won’t because they are openly biased in the most despicable way – and to make matters worse for us here, the sad and pathetic New Zealand mainstream news outlets are doing exactly the same, almost like the leftie-rag lapdogs they are.

Having stated that, I have to be fair. The Herald today rolled out an article critical of Clinton – and I was blown away – it was the first negative reference to her they’ve published since Trump declared he is in the race over a year ago. But… it referred to something she said 24 years ago! Nothing to do with the current swathe of scandals she’s so desperately trying to ignore today. Hardly balance, is it.

That is so unbelievable, how can the msm let them get away with this. Hypocrisy is to mild a word to describe the deceit and bs from these people.

  • PersonOfColor:WHITE

Apparently anti-Hillary merchandise is selling eight times more than anti-Trump stuff…..poll that MSM?

  • Huia

The disgusting way the media are carrying on misreporting Trumps speeches etc is despicable, but, typical of the moral fiber of todays media.
Trump never said he was against immigration, he said he was against illegal immigration which is what the half wits are reporting as per instructions from the powers that be.
How on earth Hillary hasn’t been indicted is beyond me, it does show the depth of the corruption in Washington which is what Trump has been pointing out all along.

Even Whale Oil has been caught in the left’s trap when it’s headline proclaims: “Trump criticised for immigration stance.”

Trump is against ILLEGAL immigration. There is a major difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL but the left love to deceive by purposefully dropping the ILLEGAL adjective.

When we, of the conservative mindset, use the left’s own devious and inaccurate language, it just makes it more difficult to explain our position.

    • PersonOfColor:WHITE

They don’t even refer to legality….in fact they rail against anyone who does not describe them as ‘undocumented’ rather than illegal. If that is not mendacious I don’t know what to say….

They have earned the nickname Media Party for a good reason. They no longer report the news, now they seek to create the news. They are an info-tainment business enterprise. Nothing more than that. We really need to stop being surprised when the NZ journalist ‘profession’, and overseas ‘reporters’ act exactly the way we expect them to. They are salespeople, not true journalists.

Yes the Democrats are seriously scared of a bit of Trump sunlight showing up naughty little behaviors. Hillary is just the tip of the ice berg.
