  • Crowgirl

    6/10 – disappointing because I ❤️ The Beatles

  • ex-JAFA

3/10, but two were lucky guesses. I don’t mind, because I’ve always detested them.

  • Carl

2/10 and one was a guess.

  • Big_Al

Oh Dear!! Only 2/10 for me. I thought i knew them better. All the songs i know as i grew up with them but my knowledge of their history was appalling.

    • JEL51

I failed too. It shows that we down at the Bottom end of the Earth were denied information available only to those at the Center of the Universe at the time. [Either that or our neurons are focused more on recent events in the Center of the Universe ;) ]

  • Tom McKechnie

PS, ( I love you ) Maxwells Silver Hammer is from the Abbey Road album.

    • Nige.

Yeah unless you have the deluxe remastered Japanese super version reissue.

Fair to say I may have got my albums mixed up there. I do t think too many people should be upset by that feuxpar

  • hookerphil

8 finally a decent group from my era that I brought their singles as they came out.

  • oldmanNZ

  • kloyd0306

10/10 which only proves that I spent more time studying The Beatles than I did studying to pass School Certificate.

  • Wasapilot

5/10 I am not a huge fan, only like a few of their songs. I remember when they split up that my older sister was devistated.

  • Disinfectant

7/10, despite the fact that I was quite young at the time.

  • Wayne Peter McIndoe

I always thought Love me Do actually had a seesion drummer Andy White playing instead of Ringo?

    • Nige.

Yeah to be fair there is some dispute as to what actually happened there. My research told me that there was two versions released. One with his and one with Ringo’s. Either way it was the first recording that the four had together.

  • Jafarma

7/10 about reflects my liking of their music

  • Miss McGerkinshaw

4/10. Big fan but obviously don’t know much about them.

  • Chrish4

6/10 – and I don’t even like them – “the band that could have been Wings” :)

    • Nige.

      Personally I like wings better.

      • Chrish4

Me too, they are far better – the Beatles were less than the sum of the parts, all did better things after they broke up.
