Pathetic stunt by Ginga Whinga

Labour cites ACC ministerThe Labour Party has lodged a privileges complaint against the ACC Minister. Senior whip Darren Hughes said Nick Smith misled the House – which is against Parliament’s rules – in Parliament last Thursday. Dr Smith told the House… [NZ Herald Politics]

If this is the best that Darren Hughes can do then he most certainly isn’t even fit to be an MP let alone a List MP and he certainly won’t be any leader of anything except the Ginga Kids Club in Otaki.

Labour are bereft of any ideas, they blithely think they have just lost a little bit of confidence from ‘the people’. They demonstrate oalmost on a daily basis why we slung their sorry asses from power.

The nice guy from Newmarket bashes the CFCB

The Cock from Campbells Bay, Andrew Williams, has certainly upset a fair few people including that nice guy from Newmarket, Cameron Brewer.

Newmarket Business Association head Cameron Brewer said Mr Williams’ comments were “unnecessarily provocative, patronising, and potentially damaging”.

They had set back Auckland’s relationship with the rest of the country and were potentially negative for business.

He said rural towns were feeling the pinch now more than ever, and that such arrogance coming from Auckland was a bad look for everyone. “With that in mind Mr Williams needs to apologise for any offence he may have caused.”

What a nice guy, pity he isn’t also the mayor for North Shore. As ‘Mayor’ of Newamarket he has certainly put them on the map for all the right reasons.

Yet another Green Ban

Cat fur peltsWhat is it about the Greens that they want to control everything or ban it. Today the mad as a snake Sue Kedgely has announced she will be seeking yet another ban.

This time she wants to ban cat and dog fur from being imported into New Zealand. For some reason it is ok to import other but we get all squeamish when if comes to cat and dog fur.

It isn’t like we are importing cat and dog meat for local consumption…though I wonder what that would taste like. I’m told that dog is tasty.

Her logic, as usual, is impeccable in its absurdity;

Ms Kedgley said the European Union, Australia and the United States had all moved to prohibit imports of cat and dog fur.

“We need to do the same,” she said.

“Otherwise we will become a dumping ground for this unethical trade as markets are closed in other countries.”

Riiiight, so we will become a dumping ground for dead moggy rugs and dog mats will we? Apparently;

“Each year, more than two million cats and dogs are raised in appalling conditions and brutally slaughtered for their pelts,” she said.

“The fur is then used to make clothes, toys and trinkets. Dog pelts are even made into chew toys for dogs.”

She said there was no way for New Zealand consumers to be certain they were not buying products made from cat or dog fur.

“Most cat and dog fur is deliberately disguised and sold using false or incorrect labelling.

Ok, so let me get this straight….we will become a dumping ground for dog and cat pelts because of our huge clothing, toy and trinket factories just waiting to churn out this stuff?

Sue Kedgely is a screaming example of why Greens are economic numpties who must never get near the levers of power. She fails to understand that we don’t have any demand for the product therefore are nlikely to become a “dumping ground”.

Matt McCarten : Key needs to stop playing with ideology and get serious

Matt McCarten : Key needs to stop playing with ideology and get seriousWarren Buffett, who lost US$25 billion ($48 billion) and was the wealthiest person in the world until this week, has claimed that capitalism as we know it is over. It seems every country in the world is following the US lead and pouring… [NZ Herald Politics]

Actually it is Matt McCarten that needs to stop playing with ideology and get serious.

McCarten’s idea of John Key getting serious is to mortgage the future of New Zealanders and borrow way over the max and send it like there is no tomorrow just like Obama. That, dear Matt, is the path to destruction.

Poor old Matt McCarten, still the un-reconstituted Stalinist believe in command economies. It didn’t work too well for Uncle Joe and it didn’t work too well for Rob Muldoon and it sure as hell won’t work for Obama, so why do these silly little unimportant fools think it will work here?

She says it like it's a bad thing

Brenda Pilott, the fool who runs the PSA union, is worried.

Public Service Association national secretary Brenda Pilott warned if civil servants were denied pay increases, there could be an exodus from the sector.

“We understand times are tough, but we expect to gather round the bargaining table in good faith, not have the decision already made before we sit down.”

Gosh she is worrying about people leaving the public service like that is something bad. There are a great many of us out there that pay for these paper shufflers that wish the exodus would just hurry the fuck up. That way the formerly non-productive paper shufflers will become productive members of society and the cost of the civil service will become less of a drain on the productive sector.

And before any lefty twat (yes Fishfurter and Harp-on, I mean you) gets their thong all knotted explain to me just exactly how and where nurses, teachers, firemen and police would go to the private sector equivalent that would cope with “an exodus”

Labour's Corrections Legacy Lets another Crim Loose

Labour’s silly Corrections policies and security classifications for prisoners has allowed a dangerous criminal to escape custody.

Arai Hema was classified as low risk despite serving an 11-year sentence for the rape of a 16-year-old Napier girl and the attempted murder of 76-year-old Bruce Butler, who attempted to intervene.

This classification allowed him out on a work detail and he then escaped.

The Minister should once again call Barry Matthews in to explain why she should retain confidence in his ability to run Corrections in a manner that the Government and the Public who pay his salary expect.

So while Phil Goff is upset about the cancellation of a silly seminar and wants law changes to enforce the Higher Salaries Commission to listen to politicians, something his Government had none years to do, another dangerous prisoner is on the run.

Labour really needs to get its priorities right instead of maintaining its attitude of entitlement.

John Key's popularity set to soar

Fantastic stuff from John Key today.

He has;

urged the Remuneration Authority to freeze MPs’ pay at its next review due to the tough economic times.

Mr Key today said he had also written to the Remuneration Authority asking it to exercise restraint when considering all salary rises in its jurisdiction.

Bloody good stuff John, bloody good stuff.

We will probably see Phil Goff come out slating this shortly.

Israel decides to ceasefire but only if Hamas does too

The Israeli cabinet voted this morning (NZ time) to halt the offensive that has dealt a stinging blow to the Islamic militants of Hamas for the time being.

In announcing the unilateral cease-fire, Israeli Premier Ehud Olmert said in a televised address that Israel had achieved its goals, and more: “Hamas was hit hard, in its military arms and in its government institutions,” Olmert said.

Fighting will stop at 2 a.m. local time (midnight GMT), but Israel will keep troops on the ground for the time being, Olmert said. If Hamas holds its fire, the military “will weigh pulling out of Gaza at a time that befits us.” If not, Olmert said, Israel “will continue to act to defend our residents.”

Got that, if Hamas holds their fire then so will the Israelis. If the fire holds for a reasonable period then Israel will withdraw. If not then they will contiue on with the onslaught.

My prediction is Hamas will not ceasefire and will continue with the rocket attacks.

Ban: Death toll in Gaza 'unbearable'

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon is in Israel and has said that “death toll in Gaza had reached an unbearable point”.

Strange, isn’t it? The UN said and did virtually nothing about the genocide in Rwanda, the same in Darfur, but for their darling Pally buddies, a few hundred deaths of Hamas terrorists and their supporters is ‘unbearable’?

The UN and the other apologists for Islamic terrorist group clearly have a very distorted reality. Bear in mind that Hamas has been at war with Israel for decades and still has as its stated aim to clear Palestine from the Jordan to the sea of the Jew.

The Israeli’s will never give in because to give in will be to die.

i suppose it was nice of him to mention that Israel’s citizens have the right to live without fear of rockets. A million Israeli citizens live within rocket range day and night, he told reporters, and “this too must stop permanently.” He claimed that Hamas’s use of private homes and civilian institutions was “unacceptable.”

Yeah but they won’t do anything about stopping Hamas, they never do.

So who is on holiday anyway?

The ex-Prime Minister from her holiday pad overseas accused the National government of being on holiday. So a little investigative analysis was needed to see who is really on holiday.

The front page of Labour’s rather slim site has no news after 17 December. Ditto the Blog page. You would’ve thought they had worked out how a blog works after funding one for so long, or maybe all of those “bloggers” are now seeking employment in the private sector. The news page is worse ending on the 13th of December. Labour are also continuing to run campaigns on old policy. They ran in 2008 with no policy published and now in 2009 they have their 2008 policy which strangely was never released for the election.

On the people page:

  • No MPs have email or phone numbers
  • Helen Clark again refers to herself as the Prime Minister and still uses super-model Helen for her picture
  • Michael Cullen is still in “the most exciting campaign” since 1981
  • Steve Chadwick still thinks she is MP for Rotorua
  • Same with Darren Hughes in Otaki
  • Clayton Cosgrove doesn’t get a picture
  • George Hawkins and Mita Ririnui don’t have biographies
  • Grant Robertson says he is a candidate for Wellington Central

Oh and check out George Hawkins face in the background of Phil Twyford’s maiden speech!

For the final ignominy check out the About Page. I’ve created an image because no doubt some party hack will be tasked with getting some basic facts right.

Numpty twats, just what exactly have they been doing over the break? It sure as fuck hasn’t been getting the website right.

Bullshit
